The Shang Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Shelton

Stopped in on a Tuesday around lunchtime, not too busy but started to fill as I was leaving. Bartender was pleasant and attentive, the beer selection was decent and the menu had a good variety without too many choices that make it hard to decide and question the quality and freshness of the products. Ordered The Club and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size and freshness. Home cut fries were hot, seasoned perfectly with just a bit of a crunch that isn’t always found with fresh cut fries. The sandwich was piled high with all the usual club toppings but not so much that it couldn’t be eaten without making a big mess. Oh! and if you are a tartar sauce fan theirs is house made full of flavor and I definitely recommend! If you want cold beer, fresh food and good service stop on in! I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere as it’s a bit dated and they are doing some much needed remodeling/ improvements but don’t let that deter you from a reasonably...

We had a group of 7, everyone got burgers/sandwiches, those were good. But I got nachos and they were not. The cheese was partially melted and pretty much cold. The thing that was the biggest letdown was the quantity of guacamole that I paid extra for. It was less than 2 table spoons.

It took close to an hour for all of our food to come out, 7 orders could be challenging to get out all at once, but the 5 of those orders were pretty much identical.

Stopped in here for a beer and burger after an enduro dirt bike race and was pleasantly surprised. You can tell right away that this is a local spot and full of regulars, when I walked into the door the record scratched and the music stopped momentarily lol. I was promptly seated and given very attentive and quick service. The burger and fries were cooked and present as about as best as you hope for.
