Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Shelton

My son and I stopped by this location on our way or of town last night. I got a spicy chicken with a small curly fry and my son got some big burger with an onion ring ND sprite. we got our food ND got 101 towards Seattle. I started eating my curly fries and the first half was OK, definitely not fresh ND Luke warm but nothing like what was to come! We were going 70 cruising down the highway when I put a fry in my mouth and was overwhelmed by the taste of mold!!!! FREAKING MOLD, 100% NOTHING BUT MOLD! I reactivity started throwing up all over myself, driving down the highway with on coming cars flying by us!! The taste of mold was so strong it felt like it was a fog that completely engulfed my head, my taste, my smell, it was sooooo bad and sooooo gross! Never have I had anything this bad or of any restaurant in my life, EVER! This place really needs to be checked out bc this wasn't a 1 off, or a bad part of a potato. This was an actual moldy piece of food (possibly more, i definitely didn't take another bite of any of it after that!) that was deep fried and sold to the public! Not only was it the most disgusting thing I've ever encountered at a restaurant in my 40 years in this planet, but it was extremely dangerous flying down the highway, barfing down my shirt and my eyes instantly filled with water, it was gross, dangerous and scary all over these NASTY MOLDY CURLY FRIES!!! This has ruined my trust! Not only will I NEVER visit this location is it were the last on earth but I don't know if I can honestly say I'll eat fast food again?! Jack in the Box is dead to me now that was there 2nd strike in my life as in the 90'si was unfortunately 1 of the kids who got ecoli from this horrid place. I've never eaten Jack in the box beef since then, not once but after years I did eat there chicken ND curly fries. After this, NEVER AGAIN! Not 1 more hard earned dollar of ours will ever go to this business again, they have now cemented their fate as the absolute worst fast food option there is available, and if you're from Snohomish county that's comparing them to memos which is horrid and still better then Jack in the Crack by s long shot! Nothing. The manager from India or where everr she is from did not understand anything my husband asked her for OBVIOUSLY. My husband ordered me a spicey chicken sandwich but requested a grilled chicken breast in place of the spicey breaded chicken fillet. He also asked for no mayo due to my allergys to mayo. He gets back home with the sandwich and instead of no mayo its slathered on so thick and on both sides of the bun that theres more than enough mayo in the box to make three more sandwiches. The bun has obviously been warmed and rewarmed more than a few times because its hard as a rock in several places. The "manager on duty" is the one who took the order and was also thr one i spoke to on the phone when i called to complain. I wanted our money back but because he wasnt given a receipt she said she would replace it only. Im sorry but this shoukd be a pretty simple fix but when she seemingly cant understand you and you cant understand her...get a new manager. Ive delt with many ppl who have accents from all over the world and the ones who dont even try to pronounce the words so yiu can understabd them piss me off. Take some english pronounciation classes for Gods sake and Hey Jack if your going to hire ppl who's first language isnt english then be responsibke enough to provide some classes so they can learn to speak the language of the country they CHOSE to move to. Every single time we have delt with this woman there has been some kind of problem with either the wrong order order incorrect and even the wrong amount of change has been given to us. And she argues with us every single time...we are done with this Jack in the Box...Dang i really wish we had...

We went to Jack in The Box around 11 pm. We were informed the till was down and it would be a 15 minute wait. We had no problem waiting and understood that it was something they had no control over. While we waited we were conversing in our car and the employee asked us to pull around. My husband said just to clarify did they want us to pull around to the front of the building or pull up to the window, the employee just said yes and never answered our question and when asked again politely to clarify the employee again said YES! PULL AROUND. His tone let us know he was irritated and had no customer service skills. The employees then went outside and proceeded to smoke and were laughing and playing around without taking our order so we pulled off and went to Burger King! There was another incident prior to this one where a Burger was ordered with no ketchup due to our child’s sensitivity to tomato products. Once we got our order it came with ketchup which we understand can happen in a fast food place. We went up to the counter and let them know nicely that we needed a burger with no ketchup. The employee took our burger and we received another but it was piled so full of ketchup that it was messy and all over the bun and the wrapper, I can only assume to let us know they had the “last laugh” !
