Miako Teriyaki Restaurant — Restaurant in Shelton

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The only Chinese food I liked in Shelton was Kobe teriyaki, but not because they had great service or anything, the only thing we liked there was their sweet and sour chicken, but it was the best sweet & sour chicken. We've been in search of a new teriyaki place, but so far no luck. I was hopeful for this place, 2nd time we tried it and both times were a let down. Plus I asked for pork and beef combination, they sold both items, but couldn't just substitute chicken for pork and charge a cpl extra dollars. It's not like I expect it for no extra cost, but what happened to customer satisfaction. It's so expensive to eat out, at least it could be some what worth it. I used to go to this place as a kid. And always rember it being our favorite in town. Little did I know now after I have lived in Seattle and many other places hosting many many choices of Teriyaki to choose from. This little place would still be my absolute favorite. Even the highest price restrants cannot compare. And in case it was just a simple case of it being what I new. I've introduced to many people including my wife. And after all I said about it She had a very high expectation. But every time no matter who or what they order not one person has not found a new favorite. I've never wrote out a review before. Update- For the first time, EVER I received COLD FOOD! I went in and ordered take out and within 1-2 minutes was handed my order(they have always been quick, but not almost instant) I live withen 3min drive if behind slow driver and hit red lights. Food was NASTY AND COLD! Also, it did NOT TASTE /SMELL RIGHT FOR THE 1 BITE I TOOK! I have read that place was sold, and cooks let go, which would explain why i saw all new people. After almost 6 years of getting my Teriyaki from here =NEW OWNERS SUCK AND SO DOES FOOD!! If I wanted nasty (UN)HAPPY TERIYAKI, I would have been...
