On 12/19/24 around 1150 hours, I went to the Burger King branch located at 1213 North Travis Street, Sherman, TX. 75090. I went through the drive thru and started placing my order. A female attended me and as I was placing my order, I had asked her if the sandwich had Mayo (Mayonnaise). She advised me that she was going to put Mayo, and I asked her multiple times if it had Mayo or not. I told her that I was asking if it had Mayo, I never mentioned I wanted Mayo. At this point, she start laughing loud and clear enough for me to hear her. I continued asking her if the sandwich had Mayo, and if so, I did not want Mayo. She told me to hold on. Eventually she came back to the intercom and told me to go to the front window. I proceeded to provide my debit card and she snatched it out of my hand. She took the payment and then left. Another female then proceeded to give me my food. I never got a receipt so I am not sure of the employee’s name, but she appeared to be younger than the woman who handed me my food. I then reviewed my food and advised that the white substance was Mayo. The woman who handed me my food, went back to the first female that took my payment, she called her “Jessie”. I am unsure if that is her real name or nickname. “Jessie” told the woman that the sandwich did not have Mayo. I took back my meal and ended up leaving. I felt uncomfortable and felt that the employees lack professionalism and...
Read moreI went through the drive thru and I pulled into the top drive through speaker I waited and didn’t hear anything. Both screens were black so I assumed they were broken. I pulled up there were two cars waiting at the window. So I waited the 10 minutes it took to get to the window. I got to the window and told the guy I didn’t hear anything at the speaker but I just wanted an original chicken sandwich. And he said “I’m sorry but you have to order from the speaker.” And I told him I tried but there was no sound. He said the top one was broken. I explained that it wasn’t my fault or his fault that it was broken and I already had been waiting. He said the managers said they can’t take orders at the window. I’ve worked drive thru at a whataburger for two years and have been through several drive thrus. You accommodate a guest. I was patient. I was already running late to work I’m 3 months pregnant and just needed something to eat..I didn’t have time to go back around and sit in the line AGAIN. What if it’s busy and people are in that line already and they don’t know it’s broken?! Then get to the window. Then what? Put a come up to block the line and make the patch to the correct one more clear. I just wanted to...
Read morePlaced an online order with Walmart+ offers ahead of time (20min.) Pricing was excellent. When I got to the front counter, it took about 4-5min for an employee that was filling orders to turn around. When she did she went straight to the drive thru window. There was no exchange of courtesy such as, "Hey there" or "I'll be right with you". She ignored us completely. She then proceeded to help drive thru with the food they ordered, delivered it and then checked on food again that was sitting in the hot window. After another 3 min or so she turned around and asked what I needed. I told her we had an online pick up order. She got us our food, and then mentioned the soda fountains weren't working... although there was no price difference we opted to get sweet tea. Upon arrival in the play area the tables were all dirty. I guess some things never change here. (Luckily we had disinfectant wipes) Food was good. Sweet tea was GOD AWFUL. Had to ask for sweetener. The employee from the grill seemed frustrated during the handoff... if I've learned one thing from working restaurant industry and fast food the first impression is always important. The experience was almost ruined if not...
