Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Sherman

The employees were nice, but the food was just plain bad. I've had the same order at every Jack in the Box I go to, and they've all tasted the same, no matter the overall quality of the Jack in the Box. However, this location is the one expection. I ordered a Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger straight off the menu, and when I opened the box it looked like they had tossed the burger from one side of the room to the other in the box. Two dry patties sat between a bun, with one Patty falling off the far corner of one side, and the other the opposite side. I figured it was no big deal, so I re-assembled the burger by hand, and bit in. I don't know if they forgot an ingredient, or something, but the burger did not taste as it usually does. I ate about half of the burger, figuring maybe I hit a bad spot where the sauce wasn't evenly distributed, but nonetheless it tastes the same throughout. The patties were very dry, and either had the wrong ratio of sauce, or maybe a sauce went bad. It did not resemble a Jack in the Box burger at all, it was like I was at an entirely different restaurant, and not a good one at that.

On the upside, the restaurant is clean, and the staff seemed nice. That said, I'm not gambling my lunch on wether my burger will taste like it is...

Tonight was ridiculous. I would give this place and most especially the night staff ZERO stars if I could! My significant other pulls up to order. We discover they’re out of what we came for, that’s fine. We order tacos instead. However - instead of the staff trying to HELP US find something, some rude unprofessional female during the night shift around 1030, I won’t put her name on her- catches a full on attitude with my spouse- it was bad enough my spouse commented on her attitude. He then pulls up to the window and this female is telling some guy “yeah. That’s them”

The heck? So, because we needed a couple minutes to look at the menu, because NO ONE was choosing to show any type of professionalism, and HELP US, we get treated like garbage, and then talked about ?!

Oh… and the kicker ? They MESSED UP our order and gave us HALF the tacos we ordered and when we went back through suddenly it was “yeah. We’re out of tacos.”

Like management- please do something about your people. No one deserves to be treated like garbage as a...

The food is usually pretty good and the staff is usually friendly and helpful, BUT their coffee management is terrible. They cannot seem to keep the coffee dispenser serviced with coffee, so it runs empty very frequently. Additionally, they keep the SINGLE, SMALL coffee dispenser positioned between the cash register and the wall (very tight space) so a customer wanting to get a refill must compete in line with new customers seeking to order a meal. Finally, the coffee dispensers which they do use are usually old and malfunctioning, so getting coffee out of them at all is often quite difficult. These problems are easily fixable with some simple management attention, but I've been asking for such attention for several years now and have not been able to persuade management to act on...
