Shotgun Dan's Pizza - Sherwood — Restaurant in Sherwood

I grew up on shotgun dans. I was born and raised in Sherwood. My girlfriend is from Alabama and I raved on and on about how she didn't know what great pizza was. First time I took her in September I ordered pitcher of beer golden nuggets and large loaded barrel. After pitcher was empty a good 30 minutes later the pizza arrived at our table. Then 10 later came the golden nuggets. I insisted the waitress take them back and remove from our ticket for the lack of consideration in her service. We go out to eat during the week because of my work schedule so this was not on a Friday or Saturday nite. Not very busy at all. The manager came over to our table and sincerely apologized and made it right by removing the golden nuggets from our ticket and made another pizza including the nuggets so we had full order to take home for left overs. We left very satisfied and chalked it up to bad night for the crew. Fast forward to last night 01/30/2017, same waitress, same problem and waited a good 25-30 minutes we decided to leave for lack of consideration on her part. I payed for the beer and she looked at me puzzled and said the pizza was coming out. I asked her where the golden nuggets are and her reply was ohh let me resubmit the order!? This was a Monday nite. Only 2 other tables were occupied I was a loyal shotgun dans customer before I was even old enough to drive. I'm am a very patience person but I refuse to wait to spend my money. Very disappointed. I have lived in Beebe since 1995 and I'm glad we have Ropers which the owner is the original owner of shotgun dans. Their pizza is the pizza I grew up on. I refuse to wait to spend my money when there are more than willing establishments willing to accommodate customers. And by the way Hideaway pizza is good place to try. Unfortunately this exceptional pizza if compromised by poor management. Went last night after ordering curbside service, after 15 minutes of calling the manger said they're short handed, and to come inside if I wanted the pizza. Once inside I gave the manager my name and what I ordered. He immediately became upset andstate that was not what was on the ticket. I told him what I ordered and what it showed on the website, to which he stated he didn't k ow anything about the website, but that wasn't what was on the ticket. I then asked for the money back. He got angry and opened the pizza job and began saying that it was what I ordered, (it wasn't), and that even though the ticket was wrong, the pizza was made right, (it wasn't). He continued to get more angry and argue against giving me a refund, insisting the pizza was right despite the ticket and pizza obviously being wrong. He finally relented and gave me a voided transaction receipt, stating he didn't know when I'd get the money back.

I order at least weekly front his location, and while they're sometimes unable to provide curbside, or they don't answer the phone, the people have always been polite, helpful, and the food excellent. Until the...

Never been so disappointed in a restaurant. We had my daughters baby shower here a year ago! Had the best service and everyone was so nice. The waitress was so sweet that we left a huge tip and cleaned up after ourselves.

Not the case this time. The waitress was VERY RUDE from the beginning. Making sure to tell us we were not her only customers. Then as we were getting our salads we over heard her telling another waitress how loud we were and “who even has a party on a Sunday?” I asked if we should leave n she was acted shocked. If you’re gonna talk about your patrons at least be smart enough to do it away from where others can hear.

To clarify! It was a one year olds birthday party. Kids were there n they were actually not that loud. The waitress was super slow at even taking our drink orders. Give the kids a drink to shut them up.
