Dashers beware: lobby will close early. Was in at 8:45 on 11/13 to pick up a door dash order, lobby was closed and being mopped. Had to wait in drive thru line which was being held up by one of the nastiest attitudes I've heard come from that speaker box. I listened as the girl running drive thru was more than disrespectful to the customers in front of me. When I finally got to the window to pick up my order (12 minutes after arriving) I asked what time the lobby closed. The girl in drive thru said "we had to close it early because we only have two people working" which was a blatant lie. They were choosing to do closing duties almost 2 hours earlier than close. While the lobby was being mopped by one female employee, another male employee was outside breaking down/cleaning equipment. There was another person inside I'm assuming making the orders, didn't see him but could hear two male voices clear as day. 4 employees were working at that point so obviously they were closing down early just because they felt like it. The unprofessionalism that this Burger King is known for has me wondering how this location remains open. Not to mention, if they still store cheeses and veggies the way they did 10 years ago, one true, non-biased health inspection would have the place shut down. I always end up waiting way too long for fast food. And on several occasions I've gone in about half an hour before closing, when I use to work overnights, and they had already started closing things down and stopped making certain foods. Also found out the people who own this BK own a few BK's in Maryland that I use to work for. So now their service level makes sense. I was being harassed and threatened by a manager and the district manager told me to just go to work and we'd talk about it later. Now I was legimately worried about this person doing something to me and I was in no way comfortable walking in there to work without no other management there or the issue being discussed or resolved first. They don't care about their employees well being and try to push things under the rug. So knowing how they operate from being on the inside as a manager before for the owners, I can understand the poor service at this one. They...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was one of those, Wow, did that really just happen moments? We went here for lunch break. Our food came out pretty fast, the cashier was very nice and polite. The food was hot and fresh except for the mozzarella sticks. We asked for fresh ones and they said ok. However, when they came out from someone who appeared to be the manager, she raised her voice as if she was yelling across the restaurant, while standing over us. She proceeded to tell us (while still yelling) that they made us some new mozzarella sticks even though there was nothing wrong with the previous ones. She went on to say they keep fresh ones all the time and that is why there was nothing wrong with the others. We asked what her name was and she said Heather and we asked if she was the manager. She said that is enough, goodbye now and walked to the kitchen. I have to say that out of the 45 states we have traveled to in the last 9 years this experience will always stand out.
