This place is slow and rarely ever gets my order right. If they do, then they must have been touched by an angel that day because it normally doesn't happen. And it doesn't happen on complicated orders either. It could be on practically anything even simple things such as forgetting a cup of nacho cheese sauce or a bag of chips or forgetting to give you your drink. So if you do go to this Taco Bell, you'll definitely want to check your order first before leaving. Most of the time that I go, I have also noticed that the employees do not follow the covid-19 guidelines that have been put into place by the health department or by the governor. Most of the employees wear their masks around just their mouths and leave their noses uncovered or cover their noses but leave their mouths uncovered which completely defeats the purpose of wearing them. The employees also leave the work area to go use the bathroom or go out to the lobby and are not seen washing their hands or changing their gloves out before returning back to work. They carry their phones out to the bathrooms or the break areas and then return back to work and touch all the door handles and phones are some of the most dirtiest surfaces there are in this world especially right now due to covid-19. I forgot to mention earlier, wait times are long sometimes but sometimes they can be fast. If they are fast though, they've definitely forgotten something that you paid for. Also, if they do forget something and you try to let them know that they have, they'll argue with you about it and go double check the order screens a thousand times before they give you what you paid for. I have also never seen an hourly cleaning being done while the lobby has been open for cary out. The parking lot is not entirely safe either to be able to just sit in your car and eat. Lots of homeless people and beggers like to sit or stand right there on the corner of the Taco Bell lot and beg for money or anything else you are willing to give them. There was also two homicides right down the street off of Gagel at the small convenient store less than 0.8 miles away from the building. They never caught the person. The safety and security is not really this Taco Bells fault, the employees/staff members can't help where the building is located however for all the other reasons listed before that don't have anything to do with the area itself, those things are serious ground alone for not going to this Taco Bell location. If you have the time, I highly suggest to go to this Taco bell early in the morning or choose a different location because night shift is worse than day shift about messing up orders and cleanliness. It definitely shows which shift sees the general manager of the store the most. If you have the time and the means to travel a little further distance, I highly suggest to go to the Taco Bell down in the Valley Station area on...

So, I work ten hours today, work through lunch, drive from Lexington back to Louisville to go home. I decided I wanted something hot to eat and came to the conclusion of Taco Bell since it was close to the house.
Big mistake. First off, sat in the drive thru for twenty minutes just to GET TO THE SPEAKER to order.
Placed my order, which consisted of standard soft tacos, a STEAK quesadilla and a beefy five layer with NO sour cream. What could go wrong?
Waited close to thirty minutes after ordering to make it to the window to even pay, seeing as how everything is closed by the time I get home and I have no real option. I paid. Sat for almost fifteen more minutes just to get my food.
After a painstaking process of watching people just mosey around and no form of reconciliation such as an apology for the wait time, I was finally able to go home once I was served.
I go home, shower, come downstairs to eat.
I discover the none of the soft tacos have lettuce, which I didn't order. Hmm, fine. Just some rabbit food, right? I finish those, move on to my five layer. I bite into it and it tastes rather odd. Open it up, turns out: it's some kind of burrito with potatoes or what have you inside of it with a North Korean size ration of beef in it (which means ZERO).
The taste of the potatoes was also abysmal, so I could eat that. Opened up my quesadilla. It's chicken. Of course, I paid extra for the steak one, as it is more of a premium than the chicken one. I still ate it, despite it not being the one I ordered and paid more for, and it was rather good.
Terrible customer service, as the person taking orders was short and rude. The speed of delivery was laughable at best. Quality control was nonexistent.
Quick summary: Took near an hour to order and get through the drive thru, once I got my food not a single one of the five items I ordered were correct and one of which I paid extra for, the staff manning the speaker was short and rude and they were just shuffling around inside like they had nothing better to do.
Overall suggestion: Avoid this one entirely. Maybe another shift is better, but if overnight is allowed to behave this way, I don't see dayshift being a turn around. Wipe the staff and start...
Read moreKeep on mind that it's snowing & cold as crap... Was almost home when I went for cinnamon twists, I paid for, but were missing from the bag, along with the other black bean crunchwrap that I ordered. So, I called them to let them know I was missing items that I paid for & was on my way back for said items. Well, I go back thru drivethru told em I had just left drivethru but came back cuz was missing items. They apologized & said they give me my 2 cinnamon twists cuz it was their fault, but I had to pay for another blackbean crunchwrap! I shouldn't have had you pay crap for it cuz they should've given it to me for messing up in the 1st place. That I should've never had to come back but cuz I did they should give it to me to makeup for their mistake the 1st time. I went ahead a paid. Got home, I'll be damned, there's cheese on it even tho receipt is says NO sour cream, NO nacho cheese sauce, & ADD fresco. I'm allergic to dairy, hence the reason for NO CHEESE NO SOUR CREAM!!! So here it is, ALL the food I bought is cold & cuz had to go back, on top of paying $6.77 for food I can't even eat!!! I called 5 x's in a row & got hung straight up on. Didn't even answer, just picked up & hung up!!! I'll go to Greenwood Rd from now on cuz they've NEVER NOT ONCE got my order wrong!!! Incompetent & I've worked fast food, so I know for a fact it's not hard to get orders correct & if you do get one wrong, you compensate with a bonus item for all the customers trouble. What you don't do is charge them for the one item that you're incapable of...
