Update: as much as it saddens me to post this I gotta put this out there. I support the Latino community and have made friends in the process. But this place has a bad apple in their group that made me decide not to do business with them anymore. As an African American doing business with them I cannot help but to have defaulted reasoning on my conclusion on this particular guy’s behavior and choices he’s made. I buy lamb there to use to make tacos. I bought some during the weekday (they keep it in the fridge not on display). The guy had to make it for me. The first time he made it he put a lot of juice in it and I told him to pour the juice out. The second time he made it he put a big bone in the container and sealed it up so I couldn’t see it. So when I get home I was pissed to not have as much meat that I paid for by the pound. Second time the guy tried over charge me by the pound. I had to walk him over to show him that I know what he did and tried to play it off like he didn’t know what he did. Listen here dude. You’re in America doing business with people from all walks of life. If you have any racist or bigoted issues with the African American people then you really need to think about who you are, where you’re at and what’s at risk. We’re both minorities in need of each other’s support. I have to keep erasing my words due to the anger I have for one man’s behavior. All I can hope for is that he experiences something in life that makes him take a look at himself to self reflect and change for the better of the business that he works for and his...
Read moreI went to purchase some groceries and paid. However, I asked the cashier for info and help on some clothes they sale for my sisters school cultural celebration week. She recommend I look in the isle and paid for the dress and some more items. I came home and noticed I was missing $20+ missing of groceries. I called and all they could tell me was probably another customer took your items and they they didn't resolve the issue. Ya'll had no issue with me dropping more money in your store, and have terrible service. The cashier was very helpful and nice, but the people in...
Read moreIn preparation for a recent taco Tuesday meal at my sober living house, I was sent here to buy some last minute condiments. My roommate speaks Spanish and told me what to say. Apparently he played a joke on me because they became quite irate. "El cula en la hostia" doesn't mean what I thought it did. They still served me graciously in spite of my poor linguistic ability. Thanks for the...
