Wing Station — Restaurant in Shively

Ordered on line & the food was terrible. I remember when the owner opened that place about 17 years ago, I went there at least 4 times out of a week. He cooked with love & confidence for continuous customers & satisfaction. Now that place is just there & the hip hop atmosphere, I should of known better. New faces every other month, just there for a check, yup I know, been there done it, especially when you can taste the difference. I use to wonder why the owner shook my chicken up so much in the container of sauce, I can taste the difference now cause it's definitely not the same wing station I remember. No carrots or celery stick, but it's advertised on line. We'll I understand thing change over time, but not recipes. That's why alot of soul food places diminish after a few months, they have no stable recipe. It always taste different. As fake as it is, but when you want McDonald's you get what? KFC you get.....? 3 months later you still get KFC. I wanted Wing Station, but I ended up getting Wings, what happened to the Station, turn it back on. My experience at this Wing Station will be "One Stop" I tried to order over the phone for over 30 minutes with a constant busy signal. So I figured the place must be busy and it was recommended by one of my Senior friends, 85 years of age for us to go to today. Where do I start? It would have been one star 🌟 but we did get some of our food. However, this store lacks Customer Service and Managerial skills. The lack of Customer Service and Managerial skills is when I have to repeat myself no less than four times about a flaw in the Wing Station online ordering system with two very young ladies and not be able to resolve a simple problem. When we arrived there was one person in the parking lot. However the phone line remained busy. Then to top it off, the Wings and Sweet Potato Fries were greasy. When I arrived home there was no Cole Slaw in the bag, although it is on my receipt as being paid for. 😨 My friend asked me to go back and I refused because at this point it's not worth the gas in my car that it would take to get there #OneStop. #CannotRecommend...

Y’all, if you love bone in traditional wings, this is the place to purchase from! Always hot, and cooked to order they are accurate with their wait times and it’s ready when they say! The wings are just the right amount of crunchy -the taste is definitely quality compared to any other wings I’ve personally tried. I always get the lemon pepper bc the sauce is just right- flavorful, juicy, yet still not too saucy! The customer service here is superb, they’ve always taken good care of me! Also, their ranch- it should be a crime to have wings and ranch that taste so good together; beware, you may just become addicted. I drive 30 mins across town just to indulge in these- my only complaint is that there’s only one location!
