Not a great experience. First we spent 20 dollars on food and drink. We bought one full size drink with our meal and I asked for 2 extra water cups. I would have been fine with paying 50 cents or having the water filled up in the back but he said it's the same cost as a regular drink so I had to spend 3 extra dollars for what should have been water cups after spending 20 dollars in what I had already ordered for the 3 of us (me, my husband and our 4 year old son). I was irritated. But we sat in and the food came up quickly and was fine. Then 5 minutes later some African American Male teen comes in with an empty bottle of water and fills it up with pop and runs out. The cashier then says very loudly this is why we dont offer free drinks. That's just ridiculous. When I spent 20 on food and am a paging customer I should be allowed free or cheap water. I'm not walking in asking for water not being a customer. And there are other ways to make sure pop isnt stolen while not alienating the customer like using clear cups or getting the water from the back for a couple examples. It just drives me nuts that in these poor areas where people cant afford as much they charge the most for stuff that has always been free and in the east end and better off areas of town where people can afford it they treat us better. There should be a universal rule because this was ridiculous. Definitely wont be coming back to this specific location off...
Read moreI picked up an online order. The lady in the drive-thru was very rude. She displayed poor customer service skills. Not wearing a name tag. Told me her name was Marilyn.
The problem stemmed from asking for dipping sauce for fries.
When I asked to pay with a dollar. She told me that the register was not open. She could not break a dollar.
Probably should have been recording her. She wanted to escalate everything, and was very upset that the encounter was taking longer than it should.
She is not a problem solving person. I would bet she complicates much of the business. And probably makes her coworkers very frustrated. I could not imagine having to put up with such a poor attitude from a coworker. Everyday...
Marilyn told me to go on and call corporate, she does not care...
I don't believe Marilyn is her name, so I'll give a brief description. She is a older black woman, brown eyes, she was wearing a dark brown wig with highlights. Loose fitting jacket, somewhat unkept.
I really hope that Burger King can rehabilitate her. She needs a lot of correction. Completely improper, the way she speaks with customers.
I believe everyone deserves respect. And as such, an employee of a business should not be acting that way, or treating their customers with such disdain.
I hope corporate will reach out regarding this post, hopefully it leads to a better...
Read moreThe place was a garbage pit! Trash all over the floors and seats, trash cans full, floors and mats sticky, drink despencers looking in near disrepair and AC ductwork caked with dust and mold(?). The more I looked around the more I got scared as a former medical food inspector.
The staff was very nice and too the eye & taste my food was good so no complaints there.
I watched at least 6 people walk in look around and turn around. 2 who said that they would not come back to this store and one other gather there food look at the floor look at me as they left. I did see the on duty manager come out during this time to talk to an employee who was on a break. They had a few jokes and laughs and then he went back to his office. Someone did come out to start cleaning but what a sad job was done. Oh, the place was empty and drive thru was light during this time. It was around 15-1600 EST so dead of customers and I was there for maybe for an hour.
My next check of this place is a walk in the door check to see if I need to walk right back out.
Please remember this is just this one Burger King and not...
