I have spent an ungodly amount of money here. I am here every single week picking up cookies for friends and family. Their cookies are 5-Stars all day long. The 3-star is due to my most recent visit/customer experience. The only reason this is even a 3-star review is based on the awesome cookies, otherwise this would be a 1-star. When I visit Madison, it is for work. After dinner, I pick up cookies. Like normal, I head over to pick up my 4-packs of cookies. I am told that X flavor is sold out. No problem. I need the one cookie to deliver that night to friend that is in stock. Only one flavor is out of stock. I say I will pay for all 4 and pick up the 1 out of stock in AM. I am told this is impossible as they don't have the capabilities. What?! You have an app, curbside, delivery, but you can let me pay for cookies now and let your staff now I am picking up one in the AM? This is a customer service issue not a capability issue.
I told the manager it makes no financial sense for me to buy 3 cookies then buy another tomorrow as buying 4- pack is essence Buy 3 Get 1 Free. She quickly fires back that it it is only a $0.50 difference. I correct her again but she says "well I can see how you can see that. " What? How do you not know your prices?!
Let's do the math on this. A 4 pack is $10.98. A single cookie is $3.48. 4×3.48=13.92. So if we I am buying 4 singles it would cost me $13.92 vs $10.98, which is not a $0.50 difference.
Since I needed 1 cookie that evening, I was forced to purchased 1 cookie. I will be forced to 4 more cookies tomorrow AM, totaling 5!! To top it off, a friend reached out with a similar experience at a different location where X flavor was sold out, but the outcome was completely different. The manager 100% took care of her. After this experience with this manager, I don't think I will ever visit this location ever again. I love the Crumbl company, but this has left a horrible taste...
Read moreCookies & Cream Milkshake Cookie: Crumbl's official description for this cookie is " A chilly cookies & cream milkshake-inspired cookie bursting with OREO® cookie pieces from the base to the creamy vanilla buttercream and finished with a mini-OREO® cookie." Based on looks, I would say that's pretty accurate. Like most of the other cookies I've had from Crumbl it's thinner at the periphery, but towards the center it's dense, thick, and chewy. The flavor of the actual cookie is primarily a combination of butter, vanilla, and sugar. Initially I wasn't getting any OREO flavor, but eventually I found it. There are pockets of OREO baked into the cookie and when encountered, they lend a welcoming chocolate flavor that helps balance out the buttery vanilla flavor and sweetness of the rest of the cookie. Combined with the creamy vanilla frosting, I did get OREO milkshake vibes. Lastly is the mini-OREO gracing the top center of the cookie. It's 100% for aesthetics as it really only impacts a single bite. Personally, I think I would have preferred if Crumbl added crushed up OREO pieces to the entire surface instead of just one mini-OREO, but that's just me. Nitpickings aside, this is another delicious offering from Crumbl that's Doughboy approved My Top Crumbl Cookies: Caramel Popcorn Blue Monster Birthday Cake Snickerdoodle Cookies & Cream...
Read moreAs a Door Dash driver it’s nearly impossible to get any employees attention here when picking up an order. An order may be ready to go and sitting on the counter for 20 minutes and you could be looking at the order ready to go. All the employees would have to do is hand you the order so you could deliver it and be on your way. When you try to talk to the employees to ask them about the delivery they often ignore you and won’t acknowledge that you’re there. Since most other customers in the store order at the kiosk or on the App and then wait for their name to be called the employees only interaction with customers seems to be to call their name and then hand them their box when it’s ready. Since they don’t seem to call out the Door Dash orders from a separate system, it can take a very long time to finally flag someone down and for them to acknowledge that you’re there to pick up the Door Dash delivery. Half of the time I can’t get anyone’s attention so I have to cancel my delivery and...
