McDonald's — Restaurant in Shorewood Hills

1 of the best places I've ever worked at. Great employees great bosses great selection of food one lane this McDonald's is always involved with employees lives for example on August 13th we had a get-together at Volcano Falls for a McDonald's employees and their families which included food arcade with paid tickets and everything else that's included with the park it was very nice of them to do that I worked here since May 2018 they are very understanding with work schedule medical needs and and don't be afraid to ask about learning something new for example I asked to learn to work in the kitchen and now when they're short in the kitchen I get to go back there. I'm loving it. On the 50th anniversary of the Big Mac they were handing out a Big Mac coins there was 5 in the collection and you can get a free Big Mac with that coin or use it as a collection and we just got the kiosk in the lobby so we had a family night just for us to learn about it and use it as someone was there to introduced the kiosk machine and also there was a a Wednesday early morning event or you can earn a whole year free fries which turned...

I had never had an issue with my food from McDonald's before, and when I did for the first time, the manager handled it awfully. I had gotten my burger, and it was swimming in a pool of grease and it was very pink on the inside. I brought my burger up to the counter to ask for a new one, and the manager asked me, with a short tone, what I had ordered and then hollered at the kitchen to make another one. He didn't specify to make sure it was cooked all the way or to make sure they drain the burger. After getting my burger, the same manager came over to my table and started arguing with me about how "the burger was cooked correctly and it's expected that they're pink." Horrible experience number 10,005. Ordered a large carmel mocha, got what tasted like a large cup of coffee grounds and water with whipped cream on top. Tried to call the store just to get no answer at first, (fairly normal for peak times) called again just for someone to answer, say nothing, and set the phone down. Tried to call again the entire time I drove back to them and sat in the drive thru (would have gone in but small kids with me and not feeling well today) only for their voice mail to pick up immediately because their phone was still off of the hook. Added insult to injury for sure. They replaced my coffee, but barely apologized and did not compensate me whatsoever for all of my wasted time getting my coffee remade. Not ok.
