When I first saw the name I thought it might be a restaurant themed on the relationship between a circle’s diameter and its circumference, with an Italian flare. Then I realized it’s primarily a pizza joint, which — I guess — is essentially the same thing. Attached to the sparkling new Fairfield Inn, you can get there through the hotel lobby, without having to go outside. But there is also an outside entrance, along with a very nice outdoor seating area for warm weather, as well as a roll-up window to the bar. We were there in cool weather, so we dined inside at the bar. The ultra-casual dining room area was bright and spacious with plenty of not-too-close tables. There are several red wine choices, all reasonably priced. The menu offers mostly pizzas. I’m not a big pizza guy but my wife loves them. Our beautiful ~12” white pizza with spinach, artichoke, bacon, and black olives got my pizza wife’s seal of approval. They even rolled the dough extra thin at her request. Together with a Caesar salad with anchovies, the pie was plenty of food for us. You order at the open kitchen, get self-serve sodas from the fountain, and someone will bring your pie to the table. The bar is full service with a friendly bartender. A great place for pie in Show Low. YouTube’s...
Read moreI got the Tuscan pizza which has olive oil, herbs, garlic, artichoke, kalamata olives, bacon, cotija cheese and spinach. I was questioning the artichoke part before I ate it but boy was I wrong! It was all so delicious! It was full of flavor! I'm a 5'9 and 130 pounds and I ate that whole pizza like it was my job! This place is hands down the best place I've eaten in Show Low and Snowflake!
My husband got the Elote pizza which has mornay (don't ask me what that is 😆), jalapeño, corn, purple onion, cotija cheese, green chili and tajin. My husband and I both ate some of each other's pizza because, well, we couldn't help ourselves! His was SPICY but full of bold flavor too! We ordered a Dessert Puff... on the menu it didn't have a price but when we asked the cashier they said the cinnamon one is $8 & the chocolate and caramel one is $9. We opted for the chocolate and caramel one which was sprinkled with powdered sugar. I would equate it to a sopapilla if you like Mexican food. It too was pretty yummy! That was the only thing we had enough left over to get a box for.
The side walk and inside the restaurant was all wheelchair accessible. Where we ate was actually a bartop that faced Show Low Creek Meadow. The service was awesome and the food was remarkable. We will DEFINITELY be...
Read moreMy thoughts are varied on this establishment. The pizza was pretty good. The pasta was wet, soggy, and did not pair well with the low quality Alfredo sauce. It paired even worse with the watery marinara sauce forming a soup on the bottom of the bowl. I suggest you forget this place has pasta because no joke, pasta from a grocery store brand box is better. Order the pizza which is good if not a bit overpriced for the area. 17-20 dollars after tax for a very small pie is a stretch, especially after you include tip for unknown reasons. This place is pretty mediocre as a whole with the exception of the awesome view. Ordering was also a mess, but I feel like that will likely dissipate with time and experience. We had to repeat our whole order because there's no connection between ordering and checking out. Not so bad if you're one person but a party of 5 or more... That's a little annoying to recite. The service was pretty much non existent aka counter service for us. Of course, the 3 options to tip 15 - 20% for the unclear level of involvement of the staff members were present BEFORE receiving food, a pet peeve of mine. It sounds like they have some growing to do. I hope they improve the pasta, service, and overall process because they have a gold mine...
