I made an online reservation at 12pm which said wait times were ~45-50 minutes. Arrived at 12:20pm to check in.
The hostess doesn't say a thing about further delays and we happily watch the waitlist update...and it stops at 15 minutes for 30 minutes. I asked the hostess if it would be much longer. "Just a few minutes."
1:22pm we finally get seated. At this point, our server tells us they have multiple cooks out so meal tickets are taking at least 45 minutes so we're in for a wait. The first we'd heard of it. We ordered bignets to tide us over and even those took an hour.
Our meals did not arrive until 2:30pm and were barely warm. At this point we've been here 2 hours and wishing we'd gone somewhere else.
I am livid. If we had been informed at checkin about additional delays we could have gone somewhere else instead of sitting outside in the 100 degree heat unaware that our meal was another hour away. What about a note on a stand at the front desk if the hostess couldn't be bothered to inform us at checkin? We moved inside the lobby for the last 15 minutes of our wait and not once did she inform anyone of any other issues with delays.
I'm not upset at the server. Once we were seated Baily did her best to let us know that tickets were 45 minute wait since multiple kitchen staff were out. But if the managers are going to wander about it would be nice if they walked through the waiting customers too just to make sure we were aware of the kitchen delays. So many opportunities to let us know were missed.
In summary, this places wait times are often excessive but food comes quick when you're seated. Clearly that is no longer the case. Another Broken Egg has lost this customer. If you dare to try yourself, you better ask when you check in if there are delays AND if the kitchen is behind too or you'll be in our same situation.
Manager made no effort to stop by our table except when we had to call him over because our begniets were raw pastry dough in the middle. He never came back though he did spend 15 minutes just chatting up the table next to us. Clearly, they're not concerned about customer experience anymore. I can't get the last 3.5 hours of my life back. Happy...

Read moreCurrently here as i do my review and been served my food. My server Derek was great until after i cash app him his tip, before my food came. I put an order in for French toast breakfast last minute i changed my mind he was able to cancel it before the kitchen made it and changed it to traditional day starter. Only difference between the two is one is an English muffin. Also ordered shrimp and grits (no cheese) of course there’s cheese in my grits once it arrived. So he brings out French toast and my shrimp and grits, asked was there anything else i needed? I replied no i was good, when would the rest of my meal be out. He then looked confused and frustrated. He asked what did i mean? I said my English muffin, bacon and eggs Were the things i were waiting for. His response was okay now honey you are being a lot right now. I thought we cancelled the other items I explained what we both knew. After this i didn’t even say anything about my grits. He then went back to the kitchen and brought me a breakfast sandwich when clearly i didn’t order a breakfast but plate. When i informed him on how it was suppose to be he left and the manager came out to speak with me kat is great. She has a great aura. She was amazing with letting me know the new season items. Good suggestions. Love her professionalism. Great listener, conflict and resolution skills...
