Dunkin' — Restaurant in Shreveport

Had a self day to reflect on myself and was in the mood for something sweet and savory....... I have been thinking a-lot lately and to comfort my feelings I took a elongated peaceful stroll to the new majestic Dunkin Donuts.... Hearing this name brings me back to the days of when my my great grandma Shirleen Thomas jr brought me sweet Cajun boiled peanuts on a summers day..... It reminds me of the sweetness of the nutts on my Tung fulfilling my desire for for sweet sugar cravings. I walk into the New Dunkin and immediately greeted with a soul revival....."WELCOME TO DUNKN"..... I'm knocked down with so much kindness and warm heart welcomes..... I started to cry and the whole staff came and asked what's wrong and gave me a hug..... I'm soon given a free coffee and Donut..... This is the best Dunkin i have been to in my life......... way better than...

I never have ordered from DD so i don't know if it's just how they operate or if it's the location. Everything was out. I eventually went into the restaurant to see what they did have and choose myself, and when I walked in, no one greeted me. I stood there for a minute and then finally someone told me they would "be there in a minute" so I waited. Eventually I got to order the pastry i wanted, which I assumed I could have heated, but when I asked, it caused an eye roll. Then when I started to leave, apparently I misgendered the individual which caused a bunch of under breath angry comments. I'm so tired of service like this everywhere. It was 7:20 in the morning, come on management. Step in, get stocked up, hire people who won't roll...

So, this location is run by kids and inexperienced staff. They are not very efficient and get worse when a rush hits. For some reason, the Doughnuts from the Kings Hwy location taste like they came out of a humidifier. Soggy and overly moist. After a certain time of day, they stop brewing hot coffee and refuse to make more. I came by three hours before close one day, and the staff said they were not making any more. I went to the Southfield location and they made fresh hot coffee 30 mins to close. Some serious retraining and teaching how to handle customers more efficiently, especially in the AM. If I'm on my way to work and there's two cars in drive-thru, I pass it up. I don't have time to wait 20 minutes on a cup of coffee...
