Wow! Looks are DEFINITELY DECEIVING! Everything looked really good in the case going down the line! I asked the serving girl what kind of Fish was in the Southern Fried pan & she told me it was Southern Fried! I told her I wanted to know what kind of Fish it was & again she said Southern Fried! I tried to explain what I was asking about, was it Catfish cause I didn't care for it, or was it Cod, Tilapia or something along that line! Again she said Southern Fried & it was White! I got it anyways & it was really good! It came with Hushpuppies & I also got Carrot Souffle, Broccoli Rice Casserole, Garlic Bread & what I thought was Coconut Cream Pie! The Rice & Bread was ok, the Souffle & Hushpuppies not so much! The pie wasn't Coconut, turned out to be Key Lime (I think) with a very Mushy Wet Crust! My son got the Sausage Crusted Fish, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Mac & Cheese, Garlic Bread & what he thought was Cheese Cake! He liked the Fish, Potatoes were tasteless, he couldn't chew the Bread it was so Hard, the Mac tasted like it had Soap in it & it wasn't Cheese Cake! He thinks it had some Banana in it & something else he couldnt quite put his finger on! My husband got the Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Garlic Bread & a Strawberry/Banana Jelly like bowl! The Beef was tough, Potatoes were tasteless, Green Beans were out of a can, he did really like the Fruit concoction though! $50 was Way to Much when we couldn't eat half of what we got! They really need to train their servers on what exactly they are serving & to be Polite & Friendly to the customers! Not Crass & Matter of Fact Cold towards everyone! It wasn't just us they were like that to! They also need to have Prices on Everything so you know what you'll be paying! It would also be helpful if they Labeled the Desserts so people know what they are getting! There are people with Allergies to certain foods! If you can, go elsewhere! The best thing about out visit here was the Waitress Gloria! She was Super Nice, Polite & Friendly to all of us & everyone else in the place! They need to have her train...
Read moreStopped in tonight. Line was extremely long and only one Server. Everyone else was to busy hiding in the kitchen it seemed. About half the line moved when a very rude person came reluctantly out of the kitchen to assist. She sloppily served a few people before putting on gloves. When it came time for us to order our plates, my daughter wanted the fried catfish (and there was fish available, we could see it plain as day) but she was told there was none available, and told to make another selection...which depressed the whole experience for her. The first server who was no focused on serving the sides was far more pleasantly attentive to her customers. It was a hit and miss with the food. My entree was far too salty and greasy whereas my fiancee's was ok. My daughter was completely turned off about hers because it was not what she wanted to begin with. The dinner rolls were ice cold and the cornbread dry. I give two stars for that one Server who upon entry tried to keep everyone happy...but we won't...
Read moreAfter reading so many reviews my family and I decided to give this location a chance and we are so HAPPY we did!!! This establishment is a beautiful childhood memory. It is sad that in Texas they closed down and I believe this was a horrible mistake. The FOOD, the STAFF, the SERVICE, the FOOD 😄 did Not disappoint!!! Ms. KESHA and the entire STAFF were AMAZING. THANK YOU ALL for a memorable experience!!! They were very attentive and extremely friendly. I wished the owners would reconsider opening a location in Pasadena in the Fairmont and Beltway 8 location BECAUSE ever since the pandemic many of our favorite locations have shorten due to taste. Piccadilly can ALWAYS be counted on home cooked taste. 😞😞😞We hate that we have to drive 5 to 7 hours depending on traffic not mention having to make time for a road trip. Money that is wasted on gas can be spent on another meal from there. This location will not disappoint!!! Thank you all again.😊 Happy...
