The food wasn't great. I was informed by the person I went with (that hadn't been there in more than a year) that their cook had apparently changed. The salsa was too hot for my preference so I ordered queso, and it was so hot my mouth was burning. It was very runny and tasted like they'd thinned it with jalepeno juice. I wasn't able to finish it and I'm not a picky eater. I ordered chicken enchiladas as that's usually a safe bet at an unknown (to me) Mexican restaurant. I ate them but I wouldn't call them particularly good. They tasted very strongly of canned green chilies, which is a more bitter taste than I prefer. I couldn't fault them, the food was fresh, and well presented, just not to my taste.... The person I went with also commented that it wasn't as good as she remembered.... Also... Sangria say what now?

This place had a nice, comfortable feel, cozy but not crowded, although it was pretty packed. There was a party of about 12 or so that was a little bit ahead of us. We got seated pretty quick and chips and salsa, it took awhile to get our drink orders taken, so long that even on our first visit we were ready to order. Once our order was taken, and they brought me my Pina colada, which was beautiful and covered with a thick layer of whip cream 🍨 with a cherry 🍒 on top! It was not long til we got our food. Everything was great, the taste was great, seasoned just right with not too much salt or pepper! And I'm funny , I was raised with a close to zero sodium diet, seems crazy that I'd be stage 2 hypertension at almost 40 lol , -lol would definitely recommend to any who are in need of a good Mexican food fix!!

This place offered a great dining experience. The staff was accommodating for us after we joined two parties, and offered great service. The food ingredients are of higher quality than most Mexican style restaurants in the area (Superior is the only one I would rate as higher). The margaritas I ordered were very enjoyable and strong. There was small hiccup in the service, but it was quickly rectified. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you love good chips and salsa, high quality Mexican food, and good margaritas.

I usually go to the Keithville location, but the Shreveport location is right around the corner from the Kroger I was at. The waitress was rude from the first time she came to my table. My daughter ordered the chicken soft tacos with double rice. The tacos came with barely any chicken on them, and about 85% of the taco was lettuce. She ordered pico to go with her tacos. My daughter was upset because of the way the taco was made, but she tried to eat it. She isn't one to complain. She ended up eating one taco thinking she could just eat them. She ended up not liking the tacos because there was no flavor and mostly lettuce with little chicken. We asked if she could have something else and was told what she had to get. My daughter decided she didn't want anything. The waitress charged 4.00 for one taco and almost 4.00 for the pico. I was looking at my ticket when the waitress walked over asking something wrong? I said just looking at my ticket. When the waitress came back over I asked if she could at least take off the pico since my daughter wasn't able to use it she got an attitude saying she would just go get someone. Apparently the lady that walked over was a manager so I told her what happened. She proceeded to say that she gave a discount. I said yes I see, but would it be possible to at least take off the pico. She proceeded to repeat herself with an attitude. I told her to have a good night and I proceeded to the counter where I asked for a different manager. Another manager came to the counter and I told him what happened and he acted like he didn't care. I...

We had an amazing time at El patio for Father's Day as our first time there ever. My husband loves Mexican cuisine and margaritas. He'll eat pretty much anywhere (or anything) as long as they have margaritas, but I am really picky about what Mexican food I eat. I am so happy we found a restaurant that we both absolutely love that has everything we both want!!

The food quality is very high and the atmosphere is wonderful.

The service is even better! I left the table to go nurse my son because there was no way to do it discreetly inside, with a one-year-old that kicks, and when I came back my food was gone and my beer. When I saw that, I pretty loudly exclaimed "What happened to my food!?!? And my beer!?!?" I was only saying this to my family. I just said it loudly because I was upset and shocked. My husband was in the bathroom when our waitress took our food and the rest of my family just wasn't paying attention. And someone working nearby asked what I was eating so that he could get me another late. I refused about three times and said it was fine because I'd already eaten half my food. But, he insisted so I told him what I had. That was probably the sweetest and most unnecessary thing.

10 outta 10 would...

Me and my boyfriend went here for the first time on Sunday and were so disappointed! I tried to special order and was told bluntly “No too busy “! And waited for 15 minutes to return to take our order. Then waited another half hour for our waiter to return to tell us that I food would be out shortly. All the while a table of 10 ordered, was served and left. Then another table of 10 was seated and ordered! The nachos I ordered were soggy and overcooked! My boyfriends order was horrible! It ordered the large sampler meal. 3 enchiladas with very little sauce and no cheese and one small flour tortilla that was supposed to be the burrito. One taco that was so soggy that you couldn’t pick it up and one tamale that was overcooked and dry! Also the guacamole was so bland! The manager came over and we stated we were not happy with our food and that we have been here for over an hour and 15 minutes. She just glared at us! No apology or offer to remake the food. Our bill was $53 and no offer to give us a discount! My boyfriend and I are “foodies “ and appreciate good food and service! This was definitely the worst restaurant food and service that we...
