Hickory Stick — Restaurant in Shreveport

I had an absolutely appalling experience at Hickory Stick, 4448 Youree Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. My order was completely wrong, I was overcharged, and not once did anyone offer an apology. The manager, Scott, who took my order over the phone, refused to address the issue until I had an employee intervene on my behalf. This happened around 12:10 PM during lunch—a busy time, yet I was left waiting over 40 minutes in the drive-thru because of his mistakes.

When Scott finally came out, instead of taking responsibility, he had the audacity to act upset with me for still being there. His rude, dismissive, and disrespectful behavior is utterly unacceptable for any manager and reflects a complete lack of professionalism and customer care.

This was my first time at this restaurant and it will absolutely be my last. I cannot, in good conscience, support a business that treats customers this poorly. I want to warn others—be extremely cautious if you choose to dine here. I am only able to leave one star, but I would...

I ordered the day before memorial day, a family platter, plus 2lbs of ribs, also a large potato salad & baked beans. The chicken & ribs was under cooked so I had to put them in the oven, the sausage was chopped up like it was going in some soup. I was expecting whole links, I've never seen this before it's a straight ripoff, the potato salad looked like it was put in a blender, the beans had some kind of burnt pieces in them. I from Los Angeles by way of Chicago I know about some ribs/ bar-b-q, and this wasn't it. This was a very Poor experience I would never return, I would not refer anyone to this restaurant. If you like or love bar-b-q the hickory stick ain't it. The staff was professional and friendly. But my search continues to find some real smoked bar-b- q in these Shreveport/Bossier...

Me and my husband went to the hickory stick on 10/11/24 that was our first time eating there the service was good they deserve 5 stars for that, we spent 45.00 and I ordered a chopped beef plate and the chop beef already had sauce in the meat didn't get but one scoop on a small bun the meat looked like chopped beef that's made by curlers my husband got the po-boy and the slice beef was so thin it looked like chopped beef they use for Arby's sandwiches potato salad was sweet I was so disappointed then got a slice of pecan pie was suppose to be homemade it wasn't even good, then the kicker was everybody had on gloves but this one worked,that was a turn off...
