Went to grab a bite. Walked to door to dine in and was informed the dining room was closed. So we opted to do take out at the drive-thru. The guy at the drive thru was not very personable. It appeared that he had other things he'd rather do than take our order. We placed our orders. Then I remembered I didn't ask for extra tzatziki sauce so I asked him if I could get extra and he very literally rolled his eyes š š at me. Wow, ok thanks for the eye roll.
Upon receiving our food and getting home I was disappointed to see that the gyro meat is NOT shaved but great big, thick chunks of gyro meat.š And the pita was thick and doughy- more like a flatbread than a traditional pita.
Our very first time at Yeero Yeero and sadly our last. The service was very disappointing with the drive-thru attendant treating us as if we're were an annoyance and the eye rolling at my request. I can overlook the preparation of the gyro meat but our treatment as paying customers is what clenched our decision to never visit this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe decor is awesome, really cool restaurant inside and out. My service was very good. My server was very kind and accomodatting and it seems like the owner is very passionate about his buisness. I ordered about 5 things off the menu.
That being said I would like to give them advice. Stop pre cooking, freezing and microwaving your food. I would rather wait for my food and have it taste fresh. 10-20 minutes is honestly no problem to wait but when I have a dry, uncuttable spanakopita, a soggy bland mossaka, beautiful romaine but you can see is wilting from sitting in dressing too long and tasty gyro meat but with no crisp it's so disappointing! Even the pita seemed it may had not been heated in a pan. Don't lose money as a buisness by having to comp food for it not being made fresh or at least use an oven for reheating. Maybe if it's too much food cost and service cost then cut the menu down-whatever is ordered the least just remove!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give it a zero I would! We ordered our lunch and at the time we're the only people in there. The waitress proceed to make small talk about the news while cleaning tables. The segment was discussing the potential sexual assault during the filming of The bachelor paradise between show contestants Demario and Corrine. The waitress then decided to say to us, "with a name like Demario, I don't even need to look at the screen to know he was black." My husband and I were shocked to hear such a racist comment and cancelled our lunch. We left ten bucks for the hummus and Coke we had and immediately left. I was so disgusted by her comment and will never go back again. I told her waiting for the food was not the issue, but she was. She didn't seem to think it was inappropriate or racist and tried justifying it by claiming "I have lots of black friends." Ridiculous, upsetting and disheartening to see...
