Roul’s Deli — Restaurant in Shreveport

My first time going to Roul’s and it will be my last! I decided to go to Roul’s for lunch today because it was just 5 minutes from my job and I’ve heard some people say it was good so I called in an order to pick up. On the website it said 6 wings for $10. When I arrived I still had to wait on my order because there was one poor girl trying to ring up people for the gas station’s half of the store and the restaurant’s half of the store. And everyone else in there acted like they were busy bringing orders out. I finally received my food about 10 mins, $14 and some change later because apparently the website is not accurate on pricing, the wings were $12.50 for 6, which is absurd to me. Now normally I will check my food before leaving but I only get 30 minutes for lunch and had already spent 10 waiting on the food (that I called ahead for) 5 driving there and 5 back so I only had about 10 minutes to eat. I got back to work, opened my food and the wings were cold, I was given fries instead of the onion rings I ordered, which I was charged for and no dipping sauce for the wings. I started to go back but as I said I only get a 30 min lunch break. To sum it all down the service was horrible, the food was ok but definitely not worth the price and it was cold so, horrible! So I will not be going back, too many screw ups...

I finally made it to Roul's Deli yesterday a little before 5pm. There was only one person in line. The wait for the food was about 10 minutes. I got crawfish eggrolls which were really spicy & delicious! The wings were good, but not that special, in my opinion. The hamburger was as advertised, juicy juicy. Almost mushy.

Two slightly negative things to report. The music videos on the TV were awful. Very foul language. Definitely a turn off for me. The refrigerator out in the store had dirty handprints all over it. 😖It made me imagine the kitchen staff's dirty hands. Sorry, just being honest here.

And it's not their fault but I couldn't drink the soft drink that came with my food. I didn’t even bother to use the ice, but Shreveport water is so bad that even tea or a fountain drink tastes terrible. I wish I could just order the hamburger without the fries and drink.

I purchased two burgers combos that came up to $29.40. I would have rather just to have purchased the burgers alone but that was fine. The burgers were okay. My son liked his burger. One was a bacon cheese burger and the other one was a Jalepenos burger. It wasn't a bad burger. I guess I was expecting something different. The onions rings and fries were great. My biggest problem with the establishment is that it doesn't seem very clean. They were doing some type of construction work inside of the store and I feel like that should have been done after hours. Overall, the store could use some care and a...
