Our son was married two weeks ago and we had the Rehearsal Dinner in Superior Steakhouse’s Private Room. I can not begin to Thank Ashley for her Lovely set up of the room as well as her assistance with everything. We had 43 people and everyone was made to feel absolutely special! Ashley designed the layout of the room, the decorations, and guided me on what beverages (wines, etc) would accompany the food we choose Not one thing was left to chance! It was professional and incredibly classy! Superior Steakhouse’s Private Room is Lovely, the lighting and flowers, were spectacular! Our waiters were some of the best we have ever encountered! Jason, Anthony, Aaron with Ashley leading the way, were Gracious, Patient, Kind and Always right on hand but never intrusive, the Perfect Waiters! My husband joins me in extending our gratitude for making our event above our high expectations! Thank You! Now on to the part everyone wants to really know about in a fine dining establishment… How was the food? It was Excellent! We started each guest off with an appetizer (Shrimp Cocktail), a Fresh Crisp Wedge Salad (Which is our personal favorite!), then each guest had the option of a center cut tenderloin of filet, salmon or chicken, followed by a delicious piece of cheesecake. My husband and I ordered the filets, the bride ordered the salmon and the father of the bride ordered the chicken. We were able to see each option at our table and I can tell you that all the meals looked spectacular and were delicious. Our steaks could have been cut with a fork they were so tender. I know we have all gone to restaurants and ordered a nice filet or ribeye and your hand gets fatigued just trying to cut through the meat! That would be Very Uncommon for Superior Steakhouse! These steaks were Fabulous! We truly enjoyed the meal but the ambiance made our meal even better, Thank You! During Desert, Jason, Anthony Aaron and Ashley served champagne so that we could toast the our son and his lovely bride to be, it was perfect! Ashley brought us a mic so that the speeches could be heard by all of our guests. If you are considering having a special function for a memorable event at Superior Steakhouse, I can tell you that we highly recommend it! It is truly a Spectacular Place for a First Class Event! Lastly, I would like to thank Barry Gerald, the General Manager! We have enjoyed his management of Superior all the years we have been coming here! Barry chooses the best staff, food and spirits! Without someone as kind yet professional as Barry, Superior Steakhouse wouldn’t be as Special! Thank All of You For Making Our Sons Rehearsal...
Read moreThis is certainly one of the premier restaurants in the area. When choosing to dine here you will certainly be pleased overall. Live piano in the evenings and very attentive staff will make the trip worth it.
Overall the food is good. I had the special during my visit. Steaks are on the thicker size and peppercorn encrusted. Maybe not quite as classically seasoned as I would like but they are good as long as you enjoy peppercorn. It was also accompanied by a grilled chicken breast that was essentially flavorless but fine. Finally the meal included some grilled/pan fried shrimp. The shrimp had no discernible seasoning. Tasted simply like shrimp itself from any other standard restaurant. The protein was all cooked appropriately to order and besides the steak they just lacked flavor for my tastes. My wife had the Trout which was prepared expertly and was great.
Both meals were accompanied by a mashed potatoes option, You can choose the whipped sweet potatoes, DO THAT. It was by far the start of the evening which I'm not quite sure is a great thing or not. They were stellar.
We rounded the evening out with the chocolate cake and ice cream dish. This was a big let down. The cake wasn't very moist and was stiff. The flavor was a little muted as well. Honestly it felt like a cake picked up at the grocery store freezer section. We certainly ate most of it considering the cost but I would choose this option.
I think superior is more presentation than anything and it certainly lives up to that in spades. The food is good but certainly not top shelf. If you wanted a nice romantic evening you can't ask for much more. If you want great food and deserts go to Longhorn and pay...
Read moreI was recommended here by some of my family members that are locals. First, the parking lot was chaos. Second, we were rudely greeted at the hostess table upon entering. A male was visibly frustrated that someone on the phone made our reservation without his knowledge. It was a bad start and immediately wanted to take our business elsewhere, but decided to just stay and give it a try. We were seated in the patio area. The server was super kind, but clearly overwhelmed by her load. I think the hardest part for the waitress was having to explain to us that they were out of nearly everything we wanted to order. From appetizers, to entrees, to sides. I couldn’t believe a restaurant of this caliber and those price tags could allow such a shortage of inventory. We got what they had available that appealed to us. The wait. Oh my gosh, the wait. It was beyond the normal. We were yawning. When we finally got our food, half of the table was unhappy. The fried calamari was like chewing on rubber. The friend shrimp unfortunately was the same rubber consistency with the breading coming off. Chicken tenders had breading falling off. The white fish did not have good flavor and they did not put sauce on top as the menu stated. My salad was completely soggy, small portion and the presentation was subpar. The only thing the table of 9 liked was the meatloaf and the Tsunami roll. Needless to say, this was supposed to be a nice celebration after my graduation, and instead we all left highly disappointed and several hundred dollars down the drain. Again, the waitress was amazing and everything was outside of her control, but I hope the restaurant can provide a...
