Emperor Wok — Restaurant in Shrewsbury

I LOVE Chinese food' I love real Chinese food and I love Americanized Chinese food! I have been a delivery person for 2 Chinese restaurants in Toms River and I have delivered for DoorDash. Based on only the two dishes I had delivered to me at work in Tinton Falls, this place is subpar. Dim Sum pretty much means appetizer or small plate but when its a menu item its a steamed meat pocket thing that can be super tasty depending on the ingredients and the sauce, these were 7 out of 10. I like getting the Pu Pu platter because I get to try a bunch of apps at once. I'd rate the ribs and the chicken skewers 7 out of 10, I expected fantail shrimp and got fried shrimp which I dont really like nor do I like spring rolls. I'd rate the cheese wontons a 2 and the shrimp toast a 4. I could have sworn I read a list of what was in the Pu Pu Platter somewhere but now I cant find it - thats what led me to believe I was getting famtail shrimp and egg rolls. I cannot confidently tell you to not bother eating here without trying a few more dishes but I will definitely be trying other places nearby before i bother giving this one...

The worst service ever. They said food will be delivered in 30-40mins , 90mins later I call and I was told my food it's on his way, call again 30mins later and the said again the same thing, they play with the Costumer's , after Such of long waiting I was mad and and said that if food was not on my door in 5 mins I will cancel. Then the owner call me back yelling at me!!!! They don't know what costumer service it's and this is not the first time dealing with the bad tempers they have. They have a 10-11yrs old girl who answered the phone and she is the one who speak English, (abusive the hours she work) Never order from this place again, they will missed the good...

sorry I have to give a bad review. I usually give a place a 2nd chance before giving a bad review but WOW! first they took 30min after I called to check on the order and they said it left. then it was the wrong order. when I called back the lady could not understand that I got the wrong order when I told her. so she put me on hold then a guy got on the phone screaming at me would not let me say one word then hung up on me. I called back all night abd they would just pick up the phone and hang up. So they have my money and someone else has my food! Im like shocked and speechless!!!!! the worst place I have ever dealt...
