Beans & Steams Coffee House — Restaurant in Sidney

Great atmosphere! Just opened and it's already a hit in Sidney. They have an award-winning special espresso blend from a toaster in Missouri. Owners and staff have all been trained by professional baristas (NOT from Starbucks), and you can taste the difference. There are plenty of places to sit and relax, from a couple of large chairs in front of a fireplace to bother way in the back for privacy. The bar is open so you can see what everyone is doing; and it allows for open conversation with everyone on the other side. Speaking with the owner, there is a possibility of having stools at the bar for approval seating and a more traditional "coffee shop" feel.

On opening day I had a mocha. The flavor was rich, but not too sweet. The coffee part of the overall flavor was not overpowering nor hidden. Today I wanted to taste the espresso without the sweet, so I got an Americano. The flavor is full, and only the slightest home of bitterness. It tastes like a medium-dark roast, which is what you want for espresso, without the burnt flavor. The aroma is very nice, and that of a high-quality coffee.

I've had two different types of scones, so far. There first, a blueberry, was slightly undercooked; the second, an apple-cinnamon was most, very light and more like a birthday cake in texture. The flavors of both we spot on. Possibly I prefer more of a biscuit-style scone, as to not break apart of I choose to dunk a piece in my coffee. But if the flavor is there, which it was in both of these, the texture doesn't matter much.

It's definitely a place to stop in for a great cup of coffee and to sit back and take a breather after a long day. My family and I will be frequenting Beans and Steams as long as we're in Sidney, and making it our go-to...

If you have 30 guests all together as a group and have to make 30 bagels breakfast for them but while making them another one or two guests are stepping in and also want 1 bagel or 2 it is ok to wait to be finishing the 30 guests ahead wich came as a group or you give a bagel to 1 person who stepped in and he s leaving while the other 30 guests group are sitting at the table and no rush. Anyway when you take the order you could tell the 1 person that he ll have to wait 40 min for a bagel and he ll be ok to leave and go somewhere else . But it's not ok to wait and finally leave without food and while was sitting overthere no one could say anything. ...

After frequent travels across the tri-state region, I can confidently say this local coffee shop is hands down one of the best! Whether you're catching up with friends or looking for a quiet spot to work, the atmosphere is perfect for both. Even during the busiest rushes, the staff always greets you with a smile—no small feat considering how popular this gem is in the area. But the real star here is the menu. Every drink and food item is so delicious, I find myself craving more and more, especially with the convenience of their amazing drive-thru.
