I ordered a salad this evening and asked for no sauce, ( which in the past has been no tomatos and no dressing when I asked). When the young man brought out our food I notice that there were tomatos on my salad and asked him to take it back. From my table in the far corner of the room I heard the MANAGER snipply remark "Well if she wanted a salad with out tomatos she should have ordered a salad with out tomatos!!!" I then went to the front and told her that she shouldnt be so rude or loud enough that i could hear her clear across the room from the kitchen. Then another cashier then decided to argue with me about the meaning of asking for no tomatos and no sauce. I demanded a refund and she kept arguing with me. The manager never came out to appologize or refund the money. She simple peered out from the kitchen window and said "I wasnt trying to be rude". Both the young man and the girl that agrued with me then after 10 minutes gave us our money back. Im never eating at this runza again and I will be contacting corporate. If your going to be rude to customers don't do it where they can hear you and then continue to argue that the customer is wrong about something stupid. Simply say " I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, we will fix your...
Read moreWent through the drive thru with hungry fussy kids on the road. Ordered 4 individual runzas and 2 kids meals which appear to be $5.89 on the menu. The cashier charged us for each individual item that the kids meal came with- apple juice x2 $4.18, kids fries x2 $5.38, kid cheeseburgers x2, 6.58 The fries alone cost almost what the entire kid’s meal should have cost. A kids meal is advertised at $5.89 that includes the burger, fries and a drink. When we heard how the cashier repeated it back and our total we knew it was incorrect. So we brought it up to her at the window and her response was “yeah it’s complicated” then proceeded to shut the window and ignore us until she handed us our food. So we asked to speak with a shift manager, who said would get it fixed. But ultimately all she did was refunded us and then charged us the same way again for the kid’s meals. Resulting in us owing basically the same total as the first time. It’s not even a matter of the money they owed us back at this point. It’s how poorly the situation was handled. When called today to go over the matter again, they said they would send us meal vouchers to eat here again. But to be honest, I don’t want to come back if this is how you do business with your customers....
Read moreWe stopped in Sidney on our way home this afternoon and had hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a Runza. And it's my favorite being raised in Nebraska, they always have a high standard. We were there about 12:30- 12:45. No runzas. Um? Okay. One mark down. We ordered two burgers and a fish sandwich. At the window the kid working was extremely rude and tried to give us half our order and got annoyed when we asked for the rest of our food. Kept slamming the window shut and rolling his eyes. I usually give a lot of grace to fast food or and service workers for that matter. This was beyond what I could forgive. On top of it we had to wait about 12 minutes for our sandwiches after he gave us just our frings expecting us to drive off. The fish sandwich was so thin and almost burnt. And the onion rings weren't fully cooked but also could tell they had been refried. The burgers were great. And the ranch was great as always. Definitely a disappointing stop and lost a little faith in Runza. Hoping ours in town aren't that bad, but have heard otherwise...
