Food was amazing definitely worth it. Although, the size of the actual restaurant is a bit small. I would recommend calling ahead as it can be a bit busy, it wasn’t busy when we went to go make a reservation. The service was not the best but not the worst. George was a pretty good host even though it does it get hot inside the restaurant where the A/C cannot keep up ha. Although he made sure to keep us in the shade since we did eat outside. Meanwhile, the hostess seemed rushed and seemed to forget others orders of water & ice cups. The table was not cleaned for us hence the moderate service rating. The host & hostess definitely seem overworked and constantly rushed which can impact service performance. Overall the food was pretty good. Keep in mind no refills on soft drinks. We fell in love today. If I could leave six stars, I would! This is our new favorite restaurant. Mother’s is utterly charming and CRAZY DELICIOUS. The textures, quality, freshness, salsa, and presentation were exquisite. We had chorizo tostadas and the chilaquiles - all extraordinary and 10 out of 10. Came here on an early Monday morning, and I was super glad that it wasn't packed because I heard this place gets super packed and there isn't a lot of room to sit for a lot of people!
