I went up there the other night and I had check the hours before I drove up and it said they were open until 10. I pulled into the parking lot of the shopping center at 15 minutes after 9 and Zaxby's was Pitch Black. So I called the number of the restaurant and they told me they were open. They told me that their lights aren't working. So I pull up to the menu board and even if it wasn't working! I couldn't read the menu at all so I asked her if they had a chicken sandwich. The young lady started rattling off the sandwiches as fast as she could. The first one I heard her say something about three fingers and Texas toast. I asked her 3 times what the sauces were and I understood branch that I couldn't understand Tongue Torch. so I asked for the sauces on the side. She asked me what I wanted to drink. I asked if a drink came with it. She said yes or you can get it without the drink. I was thirsty so I went ahead and got the drink. When I got home I knew it was going to be a few minutes before I could eat it. It was actually about 40 minutes. When I open the box there were French fries in there. I didn't realize I was getting a meal otherwise I would have said no! And they did put the sauces on the side but also on the sandwich and all over the sandwich! I would never ever ever order a sandwich with a sauce called Tongue Torch! I do not do hot things since menopause LOL but the spread was soaked in sauce that I had to throw the entire thing away I did not get one bite of the food. The chicken was covered in hot sauce that was so hot I couldn't eat it. I tried to taste it and it set me on 🔥. When I called up there the guy acted very unconcerned and told me he couldn't do anything unless I had a receipt. I wasn't sure if I had a receipt because I didn't have one in the sack and if I did it was out in my car. By this time it was late at night and I was not going to go out in my car and hunt for it. I live alone I live in town, I'm a little bit of a chicken. I wasn't going to go in the pitch dark and hunt. I did go out the next morning and found the receipt and went back the next day, but when I told them the issue and handed them the receipt they had me pull over. About 30 seconds later they walked out and handed me a sack. when I got home I opened it up and it was an ice cold sandwich. No side order no nothing. It was on stale toast and cold chicken fingers. their toast is always stale. I have not figured that out. I don't know if in the morning when they open they make hundreds of pieces of toast and throw it up on the shelf or what. I haven't gotten a piece of toast there and here's that wasn't tough as a boot stale. I detest their french fries and crinkle-cut are my favorite. I don't know why some of their stuff is so good and some of it is so awful. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. How can you have chicken that's that good and french fries that are that bad and Texas toast that is that bad? I hope I still have the pictures of my sandwich so I can add them to this review, like I still had my receipt! I wish I could have returned my fix for the bad order. You think if they just screwed up your order made you a terrible sandwich they would go out of their way to make the second one really good. I knew when they walked out of there as quickly as I pulled over that I was getting something that had been...
Read moreLet me just start off with saying that most of the customer service here is amazing, the food is great and they get everything out really quickly with the top most respect. But tonight I went there I’m actually from out of town so I just was stopping by for dinner. I went to the pick up window and the woman at the pick up window it was really nice she is new and I can’t remember her name but, why am I giving this place two stars is because the attitude that the manager had with her whenever. I added an extra sauce at the window that’s totally my fault I forgot to ask at the speaker but it’s usually never an issue. the manager on duty tonight her name is Angie and she was totally rude to this poor girl she said she had only been there for two weeks and Angie said and I quote” have you not been properly trained I don’t understand what’s going on I don’t understand why you don’t know these things. How long have you been working here because obviously you don’t know what you’re doing” First of all I think it’s super rude to speak to your employees that way I understand that she may not have known something but nowadays nobody wants to work and nobody wants to be a hard worker. everybody is short staffed and so I think employers and managers really need to appreciate their employees it actually show up. I’ve been working in a restaurant for half of my life and I have come across so many rude managers! this poor girl had tears in her eyes and she was literally about to cry as I told her that I hope she has a better day and she does not deserve to treated that way! even if she wasn’t new everybody makes their own mistakes and no manager should talk to any employee that way, especially in front of a customer. so I get the girl out the window whatever her name was a five star but I give Angie a zero star because she’s rude and she really should not be talking to The employees that way!!! Treat people...
Read moreJust left and extremely disappointed in the quality of the food and the poor customer service from the Assistant District Manager Ruthie Pearson. When I received my order of chicken fingers it looked old and dried out and sure enough that’s what it was. The absolute worst I’ve ever had at a Zaxbys. I immediately went back to the counter to speak with Katelyn and told her my issue. The employees in the back looked less than interested in my complaint as well as Katelyn. When I asked why they were so dry she said that they have been under a heat lamp for approx 15 mins. Are you kidding me! She then proceeded to get me some more and that’s when Ruthie thought she was helping by giving me another order from the same heat lamp and same quality. I asked for a refund and then began to ask Ruthie why she was not interested in my problem and that’s when she advised again that they were under a heat lamp and within the specified time frame. She also had to bring her hands to her face and seem to calm herself due to the extreme problem we had of some old dried out chicken. She offered to cook fresh but I told her to forget it and I would let my review and complaint to corporate...
