QC Hibachi Grill — Restaurant in Silvis

I had been patronizing QC hibachi since either 2022 or early 2023. I can’t remember because the first time I had them was from a coworker when I used to work in Silvis. I remember the food being so good, Especially the crab Rangoon. I am from Chicago and it reminded me of home. The hibachi was OK, However, I suppose for the QC, it was the best that you’d get. I have referred many people here because I really did like their food. Unfortunately, I’m writing this review after several bad experiences. If I ever have to question an establishments integrity, then that is a problem. Again, I’m speaking as a patron who has bought food here many times and who has voiced my concern with them in person, twice, a couple of months ago. The issue is that There is a big difference with their food quality when you order delivery vs picking up. For my deliveries, I have had everything from inedible hard steak to crab Rangoon, that had no filling inside. However, today was the absolutely the worst. Not only did I receive crab Rangoon with no filling, They have significantly decreased the quantity of food portions. If you have been a customer here, you will understand when you see the pictures. I empathize that they had to increase their prices due to inflation, which, in comparison to many other restaurants was not that bad. However, I refuse to pay more for less food and bad quality. Very VERY disappointed! I walked there and back about a mile for dinner for the family I got home with the wrong order and called I said hey since I gotta WALK all the way back can I get a free appetizer at least. I TAKE BACK THE WRONG ODER so I’m not getting 2 orders for the price of one and the rude lady behind the counter had a nerve to say I had to pay even more since I was charged for the wrong one. Mind you I WALK there all the time because it is good food. And spend AT LEAST $55-60 but not any more. Hell I’d rather pay more for the place on the ave to deliver if I’m goin to be treated like that. And what’s makes it even worse when I got back home the second time I can tell my crab Rangoon’s...

QC Hibachi Grill offers a reliable food truck experience, but it doesn’t quite hit any memorable highs. The hibachi meals are prepared decently, with generous portions that will fill you up, but the flavors and overall experience just feel average. It’s convenient for a quick takeout option, especially if you’re craving hibachi, but there’s nothing particularly special about the food that makes it stand out from other similar places.
