Today is June 23rd 2015. I just came back from Chi-Chi's pizza. I had gone there to buy a large pizza for dinner, which I did. I waited the 15 minutes that they said it would take to make the pizza and when I got to the counter it was ready. It smelled wonderful and I could hardly wait to get it home and devour it. As I turned to leave the box slipped out of my hands and the whole thing landed on the floor. I expressed my dismay with my usual colorful vernacular and, after counting to 10, I scooped the whole mess and placed it back on the counter. I was immediately informed that they would make me another pizza and that it would take another 15 minutes, which it did. I insisted on paying for this new pizza as it was not Chi-Chi's fault that I couldn't hold on to a large flat box without dropping it. The manager said that it was not necessary and despite many attempts on my part to pay for the pizza he and the staff would not hear of it. I walked out, very carefully, with a free pizza which I am now eating and I must say that Chi-Chi's makes the best pizza I have ever had. Thank you very much Chi-Chi's for your kindness and for your...
Read moreI have been going to this Chi-Chi’s pizza since I was a child, as of this writing I am 59 years old!
So you would think that I’d be nostalgic about this place, you would be wrong.
The pizza is subpar and way, way overpriced. Other reviews have mentioned the cockroach problem I myself have never seen any bugs here but just having read that, it made me decide to go to Denny’s instead.
But we were here last Thursday nonetheless and the pizza is good if overpriced. It was because our friends had kids and we wanted a place that wasn’t too crowded so they could run around and be noisy.
I like the anti pasta salad. Everyone else had the pizza we got a pitcher of beer and some cokes.
Staff was very friendly, even though our kids were being monsters. All in all, it was OK I guess just very expensive very...
Read moreBeen coming here for thirty years. It used to be fun, drinking and partying with the owners, the service was better, the foods gone down hill, they seem content with opening more restraunts when maybe they should improve the ones the have. Lido has been consistent more than the others and I've eaten at aof them. I think it's because it's smaller and the waiters have been there longer. Times are tough, everything seems to get more expensive with less attention to the customer. I'll stick with the sausage and peppers. That's hands down the best thing the menu. Wish they still had the Chiopino, that was bomb!.To the good old days, when Paul and Jimmy were animals!. lol, Closing that place down at 5;00...
