I want to love this place I really do. I have gone here multiple times and in the beginning everything was great. I also didn't inspect my sushi rather shoved it in my mouth without checking anything. But for some reason I noticed my baked sushi was partially raw in some of the rolls . . . I am pregnant and breastfeeding, I know sushi is a tricky thing during pregnancy so I'm putting my trust in this place but I might no longer be able to .. I got raw parts to my salmon 2 times but because the sushi was pretty good and close to home I didn't make a big deal out of it I just ordered it a different way to help this not happen. Well tonight I ordered it thinking everything would be perfect I just wanted smaller pieces of salmon on top so they would Cook all the way well I open my Togo box and the salmon is chard , burned to a crisp ... I was like ok at least I'll be eating cooked salmon... Well that wasn't the case even with this burnt salmon I'm trooping through to eat there's parts that are raw still 😫😫😫 I'm so sad .. going to look for a new sushi place for my next order. Read moreThe sushi was fairly decent, and so was the garlic edamame. The miso soup was terrible as was the shrimp tempura (very undercooked). Portion size of the large saki was minimal as was the steamed rice. Stuffed jalapeño had way too much Sriracha which ruined the flavor. The oyster shots were less than good, probably the worst I’ve ever had. The sushi chef served me another oyster shot after I asked him what the ingredients were, thinking I wanted another one because his English was so poor. I said I didn’t order one, so he just threw it away instead of just offering it to this first time customer. It took over 20 minutes to get the check after asking for it. Frustrated, we went to the cashier to pay the bill. They had lost it, and were frantically going through the garbage can and their purses behind the counter! The owner came over and I let her know exactly what we experienced.
