Baked Cookie Shop — Restaurant in Simpsonville

We passed by this shop on the way home from a friend's house and literally turned around and went in to try it out. We live over in Taylors and have never heard of it before!

We ordered a chocolate chip cookie chipwich, cookies n cream chipwich, raspberry chocolate chipwich, and almond joy (basically coconut macaroon). My husband was given a peanut cookie instead of the chocolate chip cookie, so that was a bit of bummer as he isn't a big peanut fan (didn't realize until we opened the box). The almond joy was awesome! Very sweet and rich, but not knocking that! We were actually not big fans of the cookies. Not sure if it was just an off day as they get rave reviews or just a preference thing. The cookies crumbled apart...more like a biscuit. The flavor was great, but we personally both like more of a gooey, soft cookie. Overall, loved the frosting and the menu. Very cute...

Not bad, not great. These cookies are not the soft homemade kind so if that's what you are looking for go elsewhere. They are firm, crispy and will crumble apart when bitten. The staff is usually friendly. If you start an account you can accrue points which you can use for discounts. But the points are deleted if you don't use them within 30 days, so unless you go on a regular basis they are pointless. AND you can only use them on the basic classic cookies. Great bakery, hidden gem! I worked with the staff to create some macarons and wedding cookies for a bridal shower that I was hosting at an out of state venue. They were able to turn my vision into reality. The goodies were so tasty and held up really well after being transported across 3 states to their final destination.
