I, visited and ate at this place on 8/5 after seeing the high reviews and getting a recommendation from a friend. I walked in and was given menus by a woman that was behind the register. I sat down and looked over the menu and decided on which items I wanted. I ordered the Mexican burger, or so I thought, and the bacon cheddar fries and a drink. I got my cup and went and sat down at my table. About 15mins later after listening to some of the worst country music I have heard in my entire life my food arrived. After taking a bite of the burger I realized it wasn't the Mexican burger at all. I looked over the menu again. I then realized that the burger I had wasn't even an option on the menu. I specifically choose that burger because it did not have onions on it. I don't eat onions. This burger had A LOT of onions on it. So evidently I was given a burger that was either customed ordered by someone and I got their burger or the cook in the back just made whatever he wanted. The burger tasted good BUT my bottom bun had completely soaked through. Which made the burger really hard to eat. The amount of onions and the soggy bun made it not a good burger overall. And I know what many may say I should have told the waitress BUT its not on me to fix or correct their mistake. They charged me for a Mexican burger so my receipt shows it and I know the receipt in the back shows a Mexican burger but I did not receive that. That's a multi-part failure on the restaurant. The burger I ordered either wasn't made or was given to someone else. The waitress didn't check to make sure she was giving me the right burger and that's the second failure. The bacon and cheddar fries,, which are wedges were just okay. Nothing amazing. And I love potato wedges. I like them better than fries to be honest. These were just average. The person I went with ordered the corn dish. It came with a few things that weren't even listed as coming with the dish. One was a weird sweet salsa of some sort on bottom and it had hot dog weenies on it. Its just mind blowing to pay almost $40 for lunch and it not be good. My friend overall liked his dish but not for the price they wanted. He said the corn was right out of a can and not at all sauteed. This was a 1 off for me. I...
Read moreVery picky Foodie here, I know gold standard restaurant protocols and food quality, this place makes one hell of a burger but their to go order policies are not acceptable!!! The versatility of the menu is not acceptable and a plain cheeseburger should not cost same as a burger with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, and sauce! So two plain cheeseburgers and one plain hamburger came to roughly $25 dollars???, no drinks or sides! After working through my order at end was told PictureThis needs a credit card number. A friend was coming to pick up the order and pay. I’ve never had this only option told to me and surely not at the end of taking my order. Tell your callers first thing you need a credit card number and this way nobody wastes their time!!! You don’t have an order online option so why this step, you’re forgetting the customer first and worrying about yourselves first! Not good customer service!
I’ll need to think twice before I’ll be back for sure and for any take out definitely. ! These fries were battered type, nice and crispy good, but I prefer fresh cut french fries crispy...
Read moreI ordered the vegan arepa and asked for no mayo as that was the only condiment listed on the item per the menu. After receiving the food I noticed it was drowned in ketchup. I don't like making a deal out of stuff so I was just not going to eat it and eat the fries, but my boyfriend noticed I wasn't eating so he took it up to the counter to ask the girl if it can be remade since there wasn't supposed to be ketchup, and she says "well you only asked for no mayo. That's just how it comes " and he said oh ok... And she suggested we just "wipe off the ketchup". Mind you it is all over the stuff inside the arepa so there is no way to "wipe it off". Again, I wasn't going to say anything about it and chalk it up as a mistake, but the fact that the girl at the counter just straight up lied instead of trying to solve the problem really irritated me. Nowhere on the menu does it mention ketchup on ANY of the arepas. As a side note, the fries tasted straight out of an air fryer (not an insult, just saying they are cheap frozen fries and not worth paying $2.99 for a small, on top of the price of whatever main...
