Made a purchase from this florist 2/2022
Bottom line the value for the money just wasn't there for me. I've bought many flower arrangements for my wife over the years. I have some idea what $115 should get you. So when I saw the advertised picture I thought it was safe to assume the delivery would be up to the same standard or greater. I was incorrect. The delivered flowers had fewer stems than were visible in the advertised image. Left me feeling like I'd been given half of what I paid for. Attached are two images, the image advertised when I bought the flowers and what arrived a week later. I'll admit that I chose the most bare angle I could to show their customer support why I was concerned. I did not move any stems to their disadvantage. What you see was what was delivered. I was expecting a full bouquet from all angles, 360 degrees of flowers, like the website photo.
Customer support did respond quickly and offered to re-arrange the same flowers I was given then later offered to give me additional flowers to address my concerns, but my wife had already seen the arrangement. I appreciated the offer but ultimately felt it was defeating the purpose of the delivery fee and the surprise of the gift to go back and try to fix it.
I think I'll be more careful in the future with my flower dollars. Need to confirm ahead of time whether what I see is what I'll get.
Edit: Customer service kept referring back to Teleflora standards. I didn't think I was doing business with Teleflora, I don't even know what that company is. I thought I was supporting a local shop operating at their own discretion. If Teleflora provided them the advertising photo, the associated arrangement recipe, and the price to charge then I suppose my problem is with that company. Read moreUpdate: You never asked me to hold. You simply said “You will have to wait your turn.” Even then I was never rude. I simply replied “Ummm…Ok”, because I was stunned at the rudeness. Even then I was actually quite polite. However, anyone can see from your replies to reviews exactly who is rude. I was willing to hold had I been asked to. I was even ok if the delivery could not have been done today but another day this week. When you said yes you could do a delivery today, I proceeded to give the address because you never once asked me to hold. As stated below, given it is Valentine’s Day and I waited until today to call, I completely understand that today is busy. I was willing to wait, both for you to help another customer who was in store first and for a delivery later this week had I been asked to rather than told I would need to wait my turn. Do better.
I called at 8:55am on Valentines Day 2022 to inquire as to whether this establishment was taking any additional orders given it is a holiday. With such late notice on a holiday I would have completely understood if they were not and was prepared to have my granddaughter sent something the following day. The employee I spoke with asked me the location of the delivery and then said yes however continued with complete rudeness. After telling me yes they would deliver today, she followed up with “but you are gonna need to wait your turn”. Not knowing what she was referring to I replied “Uh…OK” sort of stunned. She then replied that there was a gentleman who was there before me and she was waiting on him first. Read moreWish I could do lower than 1 star. This was an awful experience and waste of time with this florist. I went in asking for help with my wedding flowers and had a bit of an unusual situation but the owner said she was more than happy to help. She first said she would get a price for me early the next week. When I never heard anything I contacted her and she pushed it off another week. This went on for about 3-4 weeks until she told me to just come back in and she’d have a sample to show me. When I came by their shop there was no sample and just a last minute scribbled list with some numbers I could tell she just put on last minute (paper she used had other customers information-names, addresses, etc). From there she said she’d contact me the next week to come see the bouquet. Again it was never done. All in all she put me off about 10 times (counted through our texts) and when I brought it up to her attention that I needed it done sooner than later she told me if I was uncomfortable I could come pick up my supplies I had given her initially. When I did respond that I would have to do that at that point she got very irate and rude and told me she had taken time off to talk to me, which makes no sense because she’s the owner and every time I came in it was when she said those are the days she was there. I was coming to HER. Ultimately just felt like I was strung along and lied to. Worst customer experience I’ve encountered. 10/10 would NEVER recommend especially if on a time crunch.
