Came in with my 12 year old sister and a friend, friend and I weren't hungry but we're planning in buying my little sisters food because she doesnt have a job hence has no money, she saw pre paid receipt taped to the wall for $15 and told us about it, at the time we didn't know what they were for and there were multiple so my sister went up to the counter and the old man who checked her out was actually kind at first, when the receipt she paid with came $5 short he brushed it off and was nice. I walked up behind her to see what was taking long and grabbed another receipt, looking and reading them when a man from behind the counter in the kitchen gives me a deadly stare and I'm his deepest big boy voice he asks if I knew what that was for, accusing me with a look of disgust, I was confused so I shrugged and walked away because he kept asking me and I didnt know. We went to sit down and me, my sister, and my friend waited for my sisters food. We were quietly sitting at the back table minding our business when the old man who took her order sneaks pictures of us with flash on making it stupidly obvious he's taking photographs of unconsensual minors. He then walks up to us, gets in my TWELVE year old sisters FACE and says "yes I was just taking pictures of yall" and started demanding we tell him our "situation" asking if we were homeless over and over again, being extremely rude, and inappropriate being we didn't know we had done something remotely wrong til he started taking pictures and freaking out on us. At this point me and my fiend and sister sit there while he interrogates us like he's so big and bad, he leaves, gets our bag of food drops in on the table, puts his phone in my 12 yr old sisters face yet again and takes a picture of her face with flash and another of the three of us sitting at the table. We tell him we're minors and he's creeping up out he says "I don't care, your in public, I can take pictures of anything my eye can see, if that's a problem call the cops, do it this is my shop" what's funny is the guy yelling that at us wasn't even the owner, it actually ISNT his shop. Anyway, I was shocked tht this old man had the balls to tlak to us the way he did when we had no knowledge of anything we did wrong and had no I'll intentions. I told him either way we aren't adults we are minors and it's inappropriate, he told us to call the cops again, mocking us and I ignored him and all his hilariously persistent attempts to get a reaction out of us, we left them thanking them for the food. We've told all our friends and family what happened and we all agreed were never stepping foot in that restaurant again, their customer service is absolutely inexcusable and the way employees toom photos of us as minors even after we expressed the inappropriate-ness of it and asked him to stop is just disturbing and insane. Worst restaurant experice ever HIGHLY do not recommend. And totally off topic but the prices for the SMALLEST portions of average food is just ridiculous, i wouldve never went back there...
Read moreThis is the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I believe this is only the second time in my life I’ve EVER written a bad review. I went into this restaurant today with my service dog to order food. I always try to be respectful of restaurants and other people, so I was already planning to sit outside. The girl ringing us up took my order, I paid, and then she proceeded to tell me we couldn’t have dogs inside but we could eat outside. No — I can eat inside with a service dog because of the LAW. But we were polite and said we already planned to sit outside. When we went to fill up our drinks, a man (who I believe may have been the manager) asked us to leave the restaurant because of the dog. My friend explained again that we were planning to eat outside, but he continued insisting that we leave. I told him that my dog is a service dog and legally he cannot ask me to leave. His response? “Yes, I can always ask you to leave.” Later, I came back inside (without my dog) to pick up my food once I received the text that it was ready. The same man came up to me and said, “Great weather outside today, huh?” Then another employee behind the counter looked at my hat, which has the word “Yapper” written across it, and said, “So you’re a yapper, huh?” I ignored the comment and asked for ranch (which I was charged for). He then looked at me and said, “Did you not hear my question?” EXCUSE ME?! At this point I was really trying not to get emotional, but I told them—which I DO NOT OWE THEM—that this was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, and that my dog is trained to predict my seizures. The manager then started arguing with me, claiming he never asked me to leave. He kept going, continuing to argue until I walked out—literally trying to escalate the situation. I told him he had broken the law and should know the laws before making that mistake again. His response? That he “KNOWS the law.” PLEASE choose another place to eat. Every person in that restaurant was SO rude to me, and this was something completely beyond my control. I truly hope the owners see this and replace the Staff. Other customers did come up to me in disbelief and encouraged me to leave a review. This restaurant lost a lot of business today for this encounter.
OF COURSE, looking at the reviews someone else had the SAME experience 5 months ago where they “had a staff meeting and went over all the guideline to ensure this wouldn’t happen again”. I have added the picture of that...
Read moreJust a nightmare experience. Beware of the psycho owner! Went with a party of 5 for a birthday dinner. Ordered a GF bun and the person ringing in the order forgot to include GF. If we wouldn’t have asked, she would have eaten it but it was up to us to make sure. Ok, not a huge deal. It then took 10 minutes for the birthday girl to get correct burger, while everyone else is staring at each other over our food that was already cold when it came out of the kitchen. Quesadilla has not an ounce of flavor in sight, the burgers weren’t cooked correctly, the meatloaf was disgustingly salty and mushy, and the floor was sticky and not cleaned under our table. Okay, so it was a pretty bad experience. But they should be able to make it right, right? Normal businesses do, however Jonathan has a different way of doing things. He doesn’t train his employees how to refund, so I am standing in the dining room for 15 minutes while the counter girl is texting the owner about what to do. “Just hold on” I’m being told, while my Saturday night is dwindling and I’m just pacing around after an already frustrating experience. I was finally able to leave, according to the employee, because the owner confirmed I’d get a refund. I was told he would call on Monday to discuss it. Discuss it?? I was told I was getting a refund and now I have to go over all this again with a stuck up boss. He calls and he asks to get my side of the story (like just refund me already) and then hilariously gets upset at what I have to say and claim I’m telling him how to run his business. He literally sounded like a child getting upset because you don’t like their drawing. Anyways, after a 20 minutes conversation with the owner (I have never heard of such a thing for a simple refund), he said he would refund me half (which he said is more than fair). This whole mess and 5 customers never coming back over $50. I hope he’s happy because we certainly aren’t. Underwhelming place with bland food and a crazy boss who doesn’t trust...
