Tony's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Simpsonville

We order from here almost 2 to 3 times a week when we decide to eat out spending no less than $40. Tonight was a total disappointment! Usually my husband and I do not take time to do reviews but tonight we were so disgusted with the food and service we received from Tony's Pizza in Simpsonville, SC. We ordered a large half meat lovers and half Supreme pizza with extra toppings with 12 wings. When we got the pizza we noticed the pizza was under cooked, very doughy. So I gave them a call back to let them know what happened and that we would like our pizza cooked over and completely done. Instead of offering an apology we got very rude and short responses from the young lady that answered the phone who asked us if we just wanted a credit. After we stated no we just wanted our pizza cooked over (I mean it was our dinner for the night). She then just put us on hold, without communicating we were being put on hold, and came back to say "what did you want". After telling her our order again she very rudely stated "it'll be there and make sure you give the driver the other pizza". This is the second time we have received under cooked pizza from this restaurant, but the only time we ever thought about doing a review, bc we believe in second chances. In my opinion if you under cook someone's food you should at least offer an apology and then try to rectify the issue. Not some attitude as if you're mad at the customer bc we don't want to eat a pizza full of dough bc trust me we were glad to give the pizza back. We have ALWAYS bragged to our family and friends about Tony's Pizza but now I'm not sure if I will ever eat here again. I don't spend my money where it's not appreciated or where people feel like they're doing you a favor for supporting...

I've been a loyal customer of Tony's Pizza for years, but my recent experience has made it clear that I can no longer support this establishment. Today, I placed a simple order: a large pepperoni pizza with light sauce and extra cheese, 24 wings—12 garlic parmesan, six sweet and spicy, and six honey mustard. The total for pickup was $48.36, and I sent my son to collect the order.

What I received was unacceptable. Instead of the pepperoni pizza I ordered, I got a large cheese pizza without any pepperoni. Additionally, the wings were mixed up: I received 12 sweet and spicy wings instead of the specified 12 garlic parmesan, along with the correct honey mustard wings.

When I called to address these errors, the customer service was appalling. I explained that I had tasted a slice of the pizza, thinking the pepperoni was under the cheese, only to be told that because I ate it, they would take no responsibility for their mistake. I was expecting to hear, I am sorry or let me give you a discount on the next order, SOMETHING. But I was told that I didn't order what I ordered! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This response is completely unacceptable. I have decided to take my business elsewhere. While a $50 order may not seem significant to you, there were other times I spent a considerable amount of money at this establishment, around $250, at the end of July for my niece’s birthday party. But that will not happen again. I will not be returning, as plenty of other pizza places value their customers and provide the service...

Ordered here 3 times recently and have been dealing with short staffing, food orders wrong and then call back for my credit and they tried to give me 50% not what was told. These kids working in the back are playing in the back every time carrying conversations and do not even greet you properly. I never pay it any mind because I come in and out whenever I do rarely come by. This was the last blow for me because I have wasted money several times recently with them. Prior too the service was great. This last few months has been bad. I ordered a pizza for delivery never came. Waited and called back they said oh it was put in as carry out you can come get it. Excuse me a pizza sitting for a HOUR? Next I called to order and I got somebody else order, last time I ordered cheese they gave me pepperoni so yes I’m pissed because it’s always something because they are not focused! Female manager was very apologetic but those kids that do not take their job serious need to find another job.
