McDonald's — Restaurant in Simsbury

The building is great. Everything looks modern and new. Great big play place for kids. Parking lot is horrible and poorly marked signs if you want to exit going east. Went there between 7:30 and 8:00 pm on a Wednesday night. Ordered food and paid at the self service machine. A couple burgers, a soda and fries. Took our number and waited for 10 minutes. No one came. Went up to the counter to try and get service, no one came. Saw cups next to the counter and took one because no one was helping us and we didn't have our drink yet. Waited another 5 minutes. Finally got our burgers at our table in 15 minutes. Asked for mayonnaise. Lady came back with our fries 5 minutes later (not even fresh) but not the mayonnaise. Asked for it again. She never came back. So to sum up, we had to help ourself to a drink (I think this is what we were meant to do, but we don't know for sure), waited 15 minutes for our burgers, 20 minutes for our fries that came lukewarm, never got our mayonnaise, and half the time we were there another customer was waiting at the counter complaining he hadn't got his order either. Once someone actually took initiative and shouted at the workers, "The customer is mad he doesn't have his order, make it NOW!" He got his meal in less than a minute. What in the world was the staff doing before that...? I don't expect much from McDonald's, but the service here boggles the mind. I'm at a loss. Every time I've gone to this location in the past year, I've had to wait a little longer than usual for my food. This last time I thought I got in at a good time but instead I get sent to the mobile pickup spots. 30 minutes go by and nothing. The person parked on my right got the wrong order which had to be re-done, The person parked on my left went in and got her money back I think because she never got her food. They send other cars over next to me and the drive-thru is starting to get slammed. I finally have to go in and ask about my order and nobody knows what I'm talking about. What really pissed me off was that after I have to go in there and hassle the people at the front to finally make my order that I paid for it takes the same amount of time it used to take to make my burger and fries and send me on my way. The lady in charge and the kid at the front handled it well enough but I've never had to go inside before because my order was forgotten. I've been coming to this location forever and its just sad to see...

This morning I went to this McDonald's. And it was one of my worst experiences in McDonald's ever. If you do not expect this from McDonald's. The manager was very rude. He needs to go underneath investigation because he is a liability. Also McDonald's is known for their Logistics he needs a class in logistics and psychology. I told him I wanted one McGriddle sandwich. He's telling me I want two McGriddle sandwiches because there are two McGriddle patties that make one complete sandwich. His Logistics was off his rationing was off his reason was off. His voice dilated he began to shout I literally had to keep him in composure. I have 5 years experience as a security guard and I have 5 years experience as a waiter. His behavior was completely unethical. If it wasn't for my negotiation skills and rational thinking that transaction would have never even happened so smoothly. I just seriously one of my food.
