We’re on a mission to try new all the pizza places in town and Chopper Davo’s did not disappoint! Let’s just say, it’s a good thing for my bank account and diet that this restaurant is on the other side of town from me. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and chicken jalepeno popper pizza. WOW. The pepperoni pizza was bomb. The sauce was unique, savory and sweet. The jalepeno popper pizza was dangerous. And everything was oh so cheesy! Our kids are obsessed. Will 100% be coming back!

Had my first experience with this pizza when another restaurant had given me "at least an hour" as the estimate. I randomly picked this place and I was very impressed with the quality of the product and the speed of the order. Also the sauce has a kick that the competition can't beat. It was worth the extra 15 minute drive to get there. I think I just found my new favorite pizza place in Sioux City.

Ordered carryout and oh my pizza!!! Where has this place been my whole life!? Great service all the way from ordering on the phone to checkout. The parking lot was full and now I know why, this very well could be the best pizza place in Sioux City. 5***** Note: 2 missing cheese sticks dissapeared on the drive home :D

Picked up a jumbo works, which is now $32, only to find the crust was raw and doughy. Not wanting to drive all the way back to return it, I turned on the oven to finish baking it and called them to complain. We were told to bring it back, meaning to drive almost 10 miles each way, again, and waste time and gas. We said no we are going to bake it ourselves but we offered to send a picture to prove it if that's the issue. He said "well if you're going to eat it I can only give you a half off credit". He told us"I don't recommend the works to go for this reason". So you are aware of the issue apparently. We have eaten it in the restaurant and it is crispy. This dough was raw. He finally gave us the full credit, although reluctantly. A pizza you charge $32 for should at least be cooked. If you want to charge a premium price then your product should be premium quality. Don't treat customers like liars especially when you already know there's an issue. I can get Jerry's Pizza with any amount of toppings to go and it's crispy every single time, which is where I will be going next time...

I'm glad to find a place like this, a very genuine pizza joint that makes proper pizza and has all the fixing. It's got everything you'd expect from the durable and hard wearing furniture to a cohort of very stereotypical employees and an extremely casual attitude towards dining. I had a large pizza and pitcher of beer. The beer was cheap and the pizza expensive. Both were delicious and the particular pizza I had, a "Works" with Dave's Sauce was very impressive. The sauce was midwest-spicy and a little oversweet. The crust was great and weighed down with a simply ridiculous amount of toppings. Definitely my kind of place. One final thing that stood out was how clean it was. Almost...
