I visited Diamond Thai while on a business trip. The neighborhood looks a little run down and rough but this is a true gem in Sioux City. One my first visit it was very hot outside, and the AC was broken. It was more of an authentic experience. The food however made up for the location, broken AC, and decor. This is the best Thai food I have had in North America. They had a big menu, with good descriptions of what everything was. They ask you how spicy you wanted your food, which was great.
The picture I posted was of a Thai noodle dish, with Thai spiced garlic gravy. It was good, it kind of reminded me of a beef stroganoff and chicken noodle soup combined. Not what I think about when I think Thai, but it was good. Maybe not the best choice for a 100F degree day. My dining partner had a more traditional noodle dish with egg that was spicy but good. When I dine here in the future I will get something along this route.
Prices were reasonable and portions were very large. When you are in Sioux City, SD, I would highly recommend visiting and trying all of the great tasting stuff...

The food was still hot, however it came with no forks to eat with and the kids noodles were plain with no sauce. He stated they were closed, yet online states 9pm, that the kitchen was closed. My kiddos will not eat their food but instead eats mine. This is completely unacceptable and connected the delivery company to remove them from their list of restaurants. When the gentleman pulls the language barrier to ends the call...it's very rude. I would like to have my children's food refunded and we will order elsewhere again this evening!! My entree only had 3 pieces of...

From out of town and wanted some Thai food. It was hard to find this place because there's road construction that blocked off the whole block in front if this store. We came at the star of dinner hour so service was fast and friendly.
I'm Vietnamese and ordered what looked like vietnamese crepe (banh xeo), but it tasted more like a Korean pancake since the batter is a lot thicker. It was good and fairly healthy being packed with veggies. Also ordered the honey roasted duck. First impression was that it looked dry. Once you take a bite, it was super tender and crunchy! Highly recommend. This also comes with a pile of vegies. This meal is the healthiest Thai meal...
