I have no idea what these guys are talking about. I've been twice and the sushi was ALWAYS disappointing, and the rolls are VERY small. These people clearly don't know what sushi should be like. I can only assume its from years of eating sushi from Hy-Vee. The rice is dry, AND too sweet. You don't need to add that much sugar to the rice. They use the very least amount of fish per roll and fill the rest with sprouts and unreal amounts of cucumber. Not a good value, because while it looks the you can get a great amount of sushi for the price, the sushi they give you is very small. The portions are NOT generous at all. It's honestly the worst sushi place I've been to in this town. If you have a taste for mediocre sushi, this place is for you. If you have a discerning taste for sushi, go to Fuji Bay, but you should also be made of money. If you want GREAT sushi, it's actually cheaper to DRIVE TO OMAHA to go to Wasabi Sushi for their buffet, which is UHHHHMAAZING and for lunch is cheaper even counting the gas it would take to drive there. I love me some Fuji Bay, but they have some nerve to charge the prices they do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is locally owned and the people are very friendly. They'll even stay open late if you lose track of time! Food comes out quick and tastes great. Sushi is something everyone should try and realize that even if a roll costs ~8 dollars, thats a lot of food. If you have to, take all those rolls and open them all up. It will fill a your plate!
To the people that say that this establishment overprices their products. Get out of here. By far this place has the cheapest sushi. When they say that it's overpriced, it's because they're use to buying the "fresh" sushi from Walmart. Also the desire to eat healthier food is on the rise and healthier foods tend to cost more than the processed/deep fried goods. If you're really complaining about prices, stick to McDonalds or Burger King and maintain that high blood pressure/...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery good service, mediocre food. Maybe I should try the sushi next time. I didn't much care for the chewy beef I ordered. The flavor was ok, but the beef was too tough. The poke bowl itself was pretty unimpressive, too: Rice, corn, soy beans, beef. The end. It wasn't terrible. I just expected it to be good. It was just fair.
Maybe it's my fault; beef isn't their speciality. But I was so excited to see Korean food on a menu, I had to order it.
Now the guys working really showed kindness and courtesy. It's counter service, but for counter service, it was 5 Star. Because of that, I'd be willing to consider going...
