Burger King — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

Went to try the "Philly" King, and fortunately I didn't have high hopes for that product - kinda hope they can get sued for using a known product name to describe a sandwich in which the only thing in common is grilled onions. Which brings me to the restaurant rating. They apparently felt that grilling the onions for my sandwich was an unnecessary waste of time. The Philly King is just a large double cheeseburger without the usual condiments but having cheddar sauce and grilled onions instead - so what I actually got was a sloppy double cheeseburger that didn't even have ketchup.

The manager on duty offered to remake it for me if I could come in the next afternoon. It worked out that I could, and was offered a complete meal as a replacement for the burger. I was then asked if I wanted to have the grilled onions because it would be a long wait. Wow - exactly the reason I didn't like the sandwich from the night before. They were right, it took almost 8 minutes for my order to be brought to the car.

BTW, if you are not familiar with what a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich is, it is thin-sliced steak grilled with green peppers, onions, and sometimes mushrooms, covered with cream cheese and served on a Hogie bun. Obviously 2 hamburger patties with a slice of American cheese, cheddar sauce, and grilled onions served on a Whopper bun doesn't deserve the name, especially when the restaurant doesn't even want to bother with the only actual ingredient that is found in a Philly.

They only reason they got a second star is that I got a free...

I have been coming to this BK for about 2 years as my work is very close to it. Up until the past couple weeks I've always had 5-star service but today was the 3rd time in a row I've had a major issue.

The past 2 times my orders have come no sauces and no napkins which for chicken fries is a bit of a problem, so dry without sauce and fingers greasy with no napkins.

Today was my tipping point, I arrived in the drive thru and was told to wait (2 cats at the window, no one else in the lot, so not super busy), after almost 10 minutes of waiting vehicle pulled into the adjacent drive thru lane and their order was taken immediately while I was still waiting. I finally got to let them know I had a mobile order and was told to pull around. I then waited over 5 minutes behind the vehicle who arrived AFTER ME but ordered before me for some reason.

When I got to the window the crew member just gave me a stare like he had no clue where he was. I have him my name and he shuffled around in the kitchen only to pull my complete and bagged order from the warmer. No napkins the bag either, am that time you'd think they'd get things straight.

My lunch breaks are only 30 minutes and spending 15 of them in a drive thru while others who arrive after it's not acceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere until further notice, 15 minutes in a drive thru whole being passed over for cars arriving well after me is absurd and the young man in the window's customer service skills could use...

First off, I placed a mobile order. The last 3 orders have been wrong. No pickles, stuff had pickles...extra patties, didn't have extra patties. ETC. Haven't been here for a few months because of the poor service and wrong orders. Figured I would give them a chance tonight to redeem themselves. Boy, was I wrong to do that. 4 whopper jrs all with extra patties. It says it right on the receipt. It says right on the board that people read when they make them. Once again, this location didn't make the product like they were supposed to. So I call. I get Gene, the "wonderful manager." Immediately, when I say the order #, he gets attitude with me...same attitude he gets when I give the name at the drive thru for the orders. So I gave him attitude back, matching his energy. Evidently, I triggered him when I mentioned its simple reading comprehension. I get the "I have alot of new people" excuse. Know what? So do alot of other places. If they are messing up that much, it is normally a testament of management and training, which seems to be lacking. I will NEVER EVER use this location again.
