The interior is clean and comfortable with a nicely constructed style. We experienced several less than ideal transactions, however the experience was not, overall, regrettable. I would recommend saving a cash tip for after your service instead of tipping as you pay, before your food arrives.
The coffee was excellent, and skillfully prepared. We were given a rude look for pointing out that the order was entered incorrectly and that the order was for an iced coffee, not a regular one.
There is an option to upgrade your order to steak on the avocado toast. When we attempted to do this we were told that was not an option, then we pointed out the option and were told it could be done and finally, we were given chicken instead of steak regardless of the back and forth.
Finally, the rice bowl was 17.50, and was not a large serving and had little to substantiate.
I witnessed some other patrons who ordered the waffles, which looked amazing. I would order in that direction if you choose to dine here.
Overall, likely an off day for service. I do regret tipping so generously as we were unimpressed by the food, and had to buss our own table. Twenty percent on the front end left me feeling a small pitty party...
Read moreI am from Outta State and decided to try this place by Falls Park. Liked the La Luna Latte (8/10); which was sweet and similar to iced white mocha with some raspberry syrup. I also ordered the horchata waffle (8/10); It was a waffle with powdered cinnamon, whipped cream, and syrup, not much of a specialized item. I also ordered the chicken salad (7/10); chicken was well seasoned, and I wished it was in a bowl instead of a flat plate and other options of dressings other than ranch. I also ordered the taco with carne asada (2/10); the meat was dry and no taste along with the pico de gallo, and red salsa had no spicy or flavor. I was disappointed more since it cost $15 for three tacos and had high expectations. I also got the chicken fajita rice bowl (7/10); It was warm and good the first few bite, but it soon got salty as it had no sour cream or veggies to help tone it down. The chicken is well seasoned, but with just bell pepper, chicken, cheese, and rice. It felt like the rice was season with chicken broth, and it gave it a bit more saltiness. It was a nice atmosphere and do expect a wait for food as it was estimated for about 30 to 40 min wait for food to arrive, luckily ours came out more earlier...
Read moreThis was the worst cafe food I've ever had. The breakfast pizza was a sad piece of overdone/slightly burnt cheese bread with some bacon sprinkled on and a single egg plopped off center. They gave a tiny cup of sauce off to the side that you could use to try to get it down, but it was far from enough. The dryness was comparable to a stale baguette and it was genuinely difficult to eat. They didn't bother cutting it for you so you had to make a giant mess pulling it apart or trying to cut it with a knife. This is more nitpicky but the plates also have a really impractical shape so you can't put your silverware on the edge. The bus station to leave your plates was full the entire time we were there and nobody was wiping down tables. When we left, there were open tables but they were all dirty so the people walking in were understandably hesitant to sit at them. The only saving grace was the decent coffee and nice interior design which I upped one star for, but there are many cafes in town that can offer this. It was way too expensive for the food to...
