The 4.8 is due to less than 500 reviews. If you look at Tarquin (Argentinian) or Shahi Palace (Indian) you'll get a better sense of what to look for in review average (this excludes presentation, selection, service, etc.)
It's hot line food to an extent. You're probably better off asking for an item that has to be made on the spot. The hot line presentation was unfortunate. I unfortunately asked for the 'pork jerky' which is just a 'Char Siu' variation which was dry to sitting a bit long.
The service unfortunately was not the best either. Now I don't ding for not being acknowledged right away, I usually will let that slide. The type of service I do tend to comment on for these reviews are behaviors that are dismissive, or disproportionately negative.
This it's not the kind of customer service that wants client return, or see their customers as their investment. It's line food sevice which bets on location (which it doesn't have) a craving that performs along the competition (which it doesn't have either when you look at surrounding venues ie Ramen Fuji, Oshima, Ninja Ramen & Thai, Taichi etc.) a comparatively priced menu which unfortunately it suffers there too.
I will say they did spend a decent amount on menu presentation which usually will be at least 65% to 75% of turnout. That's the food and beverage trap I fell into.
The place is clean, but if you're not planning to eat there then that's irrelevant.
This business also falls into a predictable pattern that other SMALL international food businesses in Sioux Falls tend to exploit (regardless of your choice of flavor, Chinese, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, etc) Lower cuisine quality for slightly above moderate pricing. This means you get a lower quality experience than what you pay for which will leave you underwhelmed.
I can say that my drink took longer to make than it took to package my meal. I waited a little over 5 minutes my drink. The machine was done and I still had to wait because the same person was also tending the dining area.
This is the type of drink that takes less than 5 minutes to make at Taichi Boba and Ramen.
My best advice is when frequenting these places is take into account that you are also paying for the experience as well.
This was a one and done for me. Overall not worth the commute time for the location. The quality was sub par, presentation was lacking. Nice menu, but I can't eat a plastic sign. I have recieved better service though, it's just as bad as the Panda in 41st and Shirley without the long, elephant line, wait times and drawn out screeeees from the line cooks.
This is a pass. Just drive the extra 20 minutes and go to any Kwik Star. Get yourself a Best Buddy soda and...

I'm thrilled to see a local family business thriving and achieving success. Their commitment to customer service and loyalty is truly admirable, and they deserve all the recognition they receive. If you're looking for a restaurant that treats you like family,...
Read moreDelicious and wonderfully authentic! I love that it is a family run place. The service was great. They were really friendly and more than willing to tell you all about the different food options. The fresh spring rolls were some of the best I've had and very fresh. We ordered the Pad Kra Pao-ground pork stir fry with green beans and spices- amazing flavor. We also ordered the Pad Thai and the Pad Kee Mao which were both delicious, and very comforting on a cold day. The only thing I would say needs improvement is having better utensils and plates available for dine in. No plates were made available, so we ate out of the to go containers and the utensils were too small and poor quality, like the fork was "melting" from the heat of the food which made it tricky to eat. Those are very easy fixes and honestly, I'm glad that is the only negative. So glad this is here, Sioux Falls really needed this as a dining option. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying their...
