Flyboy Donuts — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

I like all the locations so far, and I am eagerly anticipating (though my body isn't) the newest location a couple of blocks from my home. I have met several staff and the owner Ben (because he was at the new store I visited today). All of them have been welcoming, polite, funny, friendly, interested in our southern accents, etc. I have enjoyed every visit.

Being brought up in the south, our donut of measure is Krispy Kreme. The last time I went home, KK just didn't taste as good as they had in the past. My favorite KK is a chocolate glazed creme filled donut. I think these donuts are as good as KK, if not better. The creme isn't quite as creamy (one lady called it icing), but it's still yummy.

I am not fond of cake donuts, because I usually find them dry; theirs are moist. My husband and I like the blueberry, but I got a couple cherry to try today.

My husband likes the raspberry bismarcks, and I like the lemon. There is a good amount of filling, and the lemon is tangy. Our dog likes the lemon, too.

Our family went to the East 10th st flyboy location this morning and enjoyed some donuts which were fantastic as always. I don’t normally do reviews but this is an occasion that deserves a 5 star review. We were enjoying our donuts and our rambunctious 3 year old was enjoying looking at the model air planes and talking about them loud enough everyone at flyboy could hear him. A young man in the booth next to ours who turns out was an employee climbed up on a chair and removed an airplane from the ceiling and let him play with it for a few minutes. What 3 year old boy wouldn’t love that? We got some nice pictures and made some great memories. We will be back many times in the future. Thank you flyboy for your great service...

Their young blonde delivery driver dude almost t-boned my car while I had a passenger on that side. I was going north towards the donut shop crossing 10th avenue after it turned green for me and some 5 seconds later this dude comes blazing down with his eyes down towards his lap, obviously on his phone. Thankfully my honk and my own abrupt braking prevented an accident.

After walking in and buying some donuts I joked with the girls there that their driver almost killed my passenger and they said they know that driver and aren't surprised he's driving and using his phone at the same time.

Two stars because the donuts...
