A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

Horrible experience here. ZERO STARS !!! We were literally told we had to leave after my family had gotten our food and were seated in the dining room because the dining room closes at 8 PM. Mind you they had gotten their order and were seated before 8. We have a severely disabled son who is difficult to feed in the car. We asked for ketchup before leaving, they were OUT!! How is a fast food restaurant out of ketchup?? We didn’t have napkins or silverware to eat our food. The server was apathetic and rude at best. She did not communicate intelligibly, and put in zero effort to rectify any of the situation. My family is on a cross country trip and we went out of our way to this restaurant because my son wanted to try A&W. I had to find a grocery store to purchase ketchup, napkins and utensils. On top of paying over $70 to feed 5 people. The building interior looked clean enough but the exterior was not well taken care of. Who is running this place? I went to try the beyond burger and got it and my family's food to go. I got the bacon cheeseburger version - plain. Looked at receipt, was not rung up plain. Caught it and patiently told the cashier that it should be plain. Manager told the cook but there still seemed to be confusion. As my family's food sat in a warmer, they kept whispering about the beyond burger. When I finally got my food - after several others had came and left - I asked if the beyond burger had the cheese and bacon on it as there seemed to be confusion. "Yes" was the definitive answer. I get home to find a patty on a bun. I drove the 2 miles back to the location and was angrier than I have been in a long while. I was mishandled, and lied to. Been ages since I went to an a&w, wanted to have a nice treat. Thought the prices were a bit high after ordering but still went though with it. Order was drive thru. When I went to take my food out the wrapper for the burgers just fell apart. All I could taste despite the many condiments on it was salt and grease. The fries were just as disappointing. The initial taste was nothing, after taste is disgusting, don't care for the seasoning used on them, way over done. Papa burger meal and bacon cheeseburger meal $21.
