Aroma joes — Restaurant in Skowhegan

I love the rushes the afternoon staff are sweet friendly always greet w smile however on 2 separate occasions I have gone in morning we go in the young lady Alexis who calls herself the manager is disgustingly rude absolutely no customer service skills at all she not on one but both occasions has been rude I went in this morning she was very rude when we waited 20 minutes for drinks and got food after only waiting 10 mins i understand it’s busy but 20 minutes for 2 drinks they skipped over is when i kindly said i believe we are waiting on one more drink she very rudely said can’t you see we are busy I said I see this but you have waited on other ppl since me and they have gotten service. She then proceeded to mumble so I said I’m sorry what and carried on and then threatened to not allow me back lol that’s ok Alexis I will not be returning you rude little girl she then let me know she is the manager and she has the right…. As she slammed my drink down ….. I wouldn’t even leave a one star rating...

Service was very fast and the ladies working there were very nice and polite - that part was A+. The coffees and the pretzels were very good. The negative, which I'm sure is not their fault - the items are much more expensive than their online menu depicts, one of the drinks (iced) was lukewarm, and the other had a cracked cup which was pouring coffee all over me. Not the best first experience, but what made up for it was the employees' kindness and willingness to make it right. They even offered my dog a free pup cup which i think was very nice 😊 I just think whereas it's a new location, they're still working out some kinks and that's okay. And I would rather have the option to tip AFTER service vs before it as they are doing now because like everywhere, some will deserve it and some won't. Overall, the quality of the items I got and how nice the staff were made it...

My interaction was via the drive through. I waited patiently in a long line. Once I reached the first window, it was unoccupied. I sat and waited but no one came. So I proceeded to pull forward to the second window. The young lady asked if I placed an order. I explained that I waited, but couldn’t, because no one was at the first window to take my order. She stated that she couldn’t take my order and instructed me to pull forward, and get back in that long line again to order at the first window. Despite pointing out how punitive this request was, she would not budge and correct their erroneous action. Needless to say I left with nothing and took my business to another...
