Food is always amazing and Tilly the puppy is always so cute and sweet! I got half avocado half mushroom with the soup of the day (asparagus and wild rice), he got the taco wrap. I got a hot tea jasmine tea and a drink I forgot the full name i think it was Charlie Chaplin but it was good (quite bitter but very good)! Thank you again for another wonderful experience

The Reuben was amazingly lean and juicy, so good. Hubby said the filet salad was one of the best he has ever had. Fresh raspberry tea and the Louis Armstrong were yummy and refreshing on a hot July afternoon. Will definitely go back next time we are in Skowhegan.

I had a beautiful lunch here. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food and coffee was great and they made me a "London Fog" tea which was really delicious. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

The Brick House Kitchen is wonderful. Their menu is extensive and the selections are creative and generally healthy. They have soups and sandwiches, scrumptious salads, and amazing beverage offerings, including gourmet bottled soda and fresh brewed herb teas, as well as fresh-baked desserts. The attractive dining area allows plenty of space for social distance, and there is also contactless payment available. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and Tilly the dog is a delightful maitre d!

I will happily edit this review to show 5-stars when they have more than ONE handicap parking spot. As long-and-windy as the wheelchair ramp is, it would be helpful to have a couple more spots; perhaps as many as there are for 'Takeout...

Will not go back. We sat inside the restaurant and they had a big black Lab type dog roaming around the eating area. At one point the dog went into the kitchen. The dog is a resident there as his picture is up on the wall in one of the dining rooms. He was then put upstairs as to be out of the way. Not sure about the health board laws in Maine, but having an animal in the restaurant just doesn't sit well with me. I own 3 dogs, but they don't belong inside a food establishment. The food was ok.. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich that had pesto on it that wasn't mentioned on the sandwich board... I took a few bites... tasted ok but I would have liked to know beforehand so I could have asked to...

We have: 2 gluten free eaters (one Celiac, one intolerant/migraines) 4 pescatarians/mostly vegetarians 2 kids A dog They were able to accommodate our whole menagerie, and even gave us some Advil when one of our party wasn’t feeling well and the place we’re staying was a 30 minute drive away. The gluten free bread not only tastes too good to be true, it actually holds together when forming a sandwich and doesn’t just crumble apart. (Are we CERTAIN it’s gluten free? Yes, yes we are!!) The coffee was delicious! The haddock chowder, for a first time seafood chowder eater, was really out of this world. The other sandwiches and salads were so good, and the staff really went beyond...
