We were so excited to see a menu like this and a new restaurant in the area that offered something other than the traditional fare found in the area. I've gone back and forth about posting this for the past two weeks, but having been in the industry, I would want to know if my business I just invested in so much wasn't treating customers with kindness and serving really poor quality food. Food: Brussel sprouts were AMAZING and the reason for 2 stars. We were so hopeful for the rest of our meal. It took a little over an hour to get our main courses. Pulled Pork & Mac & Cheese Pizza - Arrived about 15 minutes before any of the other food. The kids who shared this enjoyed it. Salmon Bowl - Arrived next. Salmon was cold, shriveled and gray. Quiona was clumped and hard to separate. It was said to come with a soft boiled egg, but was hard boiled. When I asked the waitress if it came with a soft boiled egg she said, "Yes." so I asked if I could have one and she said, "no, that's how the kitchen does it." When I asked if the salmon was supposed to be cold and gray she shrugged and walked off. I was only able to take a couple of bites and I pushed it to the side. She never did a check back and when she took a full meal off the table at the end, didn't offer anything else or apologize. Seoul Bowl - Came out about 10 minutes after the Pizza. I asked if it was pork belly or pulled pork because my daughter hates the fat on pork belly. I was assured by the waitress it was pulled pork. When it arrived, it was indeed pork belly. I asked if I could get her the kids chicken fingers and fries. She grabbed my daughters plate, said nothing and walked off. Kids Cheeseburger & Tater Tots - Came out almost 20 minutes after the first entrée with no cheese and french fries. When the chicken fingers and fries finally came back I asked for some cheese and tater tots. Again, the waitress took the plate away, no acknowledgement of the situation and didn't return for another 15 minutes. After an hour and 45 minutes our daughter got her meal and we asked to have it boxed because everyone else was finished.
The only thing that was taken off our our bill was the Seoul Bowl, but then she charged me almost $16 for an adult chicken finger meal that was supposed to be a kids meal that was to replace the Seoul Bowl that I was misinformed of it's ingredients.
I wish it would have been a better experience and am sad to not have a place to take our family of 7 regularly or have a great date spot to go out on a date...
Read moreWent to dinner with my husband and the place seemed understaffed. There weren't many people inside, but only one booth was cleared. The rest still had dishes. We might have just missed the dinner rush. The host was excellent, cheerful and polite. The waitress Victoria provided excellent service and our orders came out quickly. I had a cheeseburger with fries for 15.00. The fries didn't taste very good so I took them home for the birds, but the burger was good (not worth 15.00 though). I cant eat gluten, but did not order the gluten free bun because it costs and additional 3.00! My husband got the Shepherds pie for 16.00. It is made with tatertots (tasted like the frozen bgged ones)no mashed. The food tasted good, but there weren't many tots and really there was less than 8oz in the little skillet they serve it in. The chef did a great job making the food, but management should up the quality or quantity(both) to match the prices. The booth I was in had slits in the seat with exposed stuffing, the rugs weren't looking great and for a place that hasn't been open long it was pretty disappointing. I doubt I'd go back because even the drinks seem highly priced for the very small amount of alcohol that made it into the glass. I definitely left feeling ripped off. Id also like to note that we are not cheap or penny pinchers. I have no problem paying high prices when the quality of the food is worth it and when the food actually satisfies hunger. If we hadn't bight an appetizer my husband would have had to eat again when we...
Read moreIf I could give a negative star review I would. So last night 09/26/24. My wife and I visited brickyard skowhegen. When we walked in the hostess didn’t even say two words to us no greeting or asking how many in our party. Was too busy to get back to her phone at the host stand. She set us in a booth right up front no issue there till we looked up and the light above the table we noticed the globe on the light was broken a chunk already missing out of it and the rest spidered just waiting to fall off. It was covered in dust telling me it has been that way for a min. 10 mins go by and no contact from the service team no greetings by any of the staff we decided apparently we don’t fit in or were a bother cause we had our two year old with us. Se decided to take the menus back to the hostess and leave with what seemed to be the manager right there. Again no communication at all not attemp to get us to stay or anything it was more of a good leave don’t come back feeling. I have at there before when they first opened and food was good service was good . Since then apparently they need to retrain cause it’s gone down hill. I would recommend not even wasting your time just for disappointment to to some where else. I have been reading other recent reviews of negative interactions and poor customer service. Honestly I don’t typically say this but I can’t think of any positive to say this time. It set the mood to not even bother to waste my time checking out the other locations I would rather spend my...
