Raceway Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Slinger

We were on our way home from weekend away headed half way home to home. Knew of nothing in area. Looked at our coupon book to find this place easy enough to find plus first 6 places I called all set still carry out only except until this place who said yes can eat inside and made me feel welcome after having.

Had the 5 meats of large pizza. OMG OMG OMG to die for. I am never ever all meat pizza but my family asked for it. At first bite of the crust was super delicious homemade. Tons of Wisconsin cheese with lots of topics we ordered, can't recall name but top carversomething 5 meat of reg bacon, Canadian pizza, sausage, pepperoni and one other meat topping. I'm from Chicago grew up on pizza but guys come over the border to find my now ABSOLUTE PIZZA!!!

Where I live we really don't have much pizza place to order so this was a treat. Rest of my family tonight all enjoyed but I won no 1 in this one.

Where we are tonight has 7 days a week special. Like Tuesday was buy 1 topping large pizza get free order garlic bread, Friday is fish Friday and more. Our large pizza was really big of large. I'm always like ya how big is size large on pizza, this one was big. Three of us all ate out until we burst bring full.

Enjoy, try it you will like it I'm pretty sure. Oh on the inside it was really nicer than I thought it would be. They have a large unit with pool and dart tables. Then a large bar inside them on last on back size, you will the size area we ate at. They also had 4 casino video table games. Looks like next to that on Fridays they have video...

This place was a disaster tonight. One person behind the bar, one waitress not old enough to serve alcoholic drinks - on a Friday night with a full house. We went to the bar to order our own drinks knowing that only the bar tender could serve, which is perfectly fine, but it took 15 minutes for 4 old fashions to be made. She made 2/4, started pouring for other customers, handed out to go orders, made our 3rd drink, poured beers for another customer, finally made our 4th drink. Food took about 45 minutes to come out and the fish was very overdone to the point that the waitress brought out fresh from the next batch (which wasn’t much better) without us asking which was appreciated but she gave us three pieces for six 2-3 piece fish frys so there were still several pieces that didn’t get eaten. Fries were cold. We were afraid to ask for regular drink refills, a split check, or anything extra we needed because it wasn’t worth the extra wait. Had to ask twice for a beer to be brought to the table. Can’t blame the people working, it’s not their fault the place is understaffed, but it seems like training could be better based on everything we observed tonight. Why is there only one person who can serve alcohol and where was the owner on a Friday night with so few people working? Overall...

I’m extremely disappointed with the service we received at Raceway in Hartford, WI. We were in town for a state tournament and called ahead to see if they could accommodate a group of 12 for dinner and drinks. The woman on the phone said yes, so we came in and were seated around 5:45pm on a Saturday evening.

By 6:15pm—30 minutes later—we had only been given water. We had to ask for menus ourselves, and still, no one came to take our order. We sat there for a full hour with no service. Not a single staff member checked in with us after that initial water drop. Eventually, we had no choice but to walk out since it had been an HOUR.

To make matters worse, I couldn’t help but notice that tables on the other side of the bar were being served while we were continually ignored. It left me wondering whether racial microaggressions were at play—judged by our appearance but never acknowledged or respected as customers. This experience was frustrating, disheartening, and frankly, unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
