I have been meaning to try this place ever since we moved to Pennsylvania back in April and the stars finally aligned to try this place. Boy, are we glad we finally made it.
First of all, the gal working the front counter takes so much pride in this restaurant and is so knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended so many different items to us and made everything sound so delicious, which must be effortless for her because the food does speak for itself.
We ordered the egg rolls (2/order), dumplings (5/order), and some kimchi along with our beef bulgogi and spicy pork over rice. Along with my boyfriend’s tea and a $5 tip we spent about $66.
The egg rolls and dumplings are fried and were so incredibly hot and fresh we had to wait for them before trying. The filling is tasty in both, but I think the egg rolls have a slight edge. Their kimchi is fresh and bright, I enjoyed it so much. Their tea was DIVINE. I can’t remember the type he got, but it was so, so yummy.
The bulgogi beef - they NAILED IT. So well done. My boyfriend took a bite and had a full body reaction, I watched him ascend in real time.
And I felt the same way about my spicy pork. The spice builds on you but never gets overwhelming.
All served over fried rice that is tasty and well-seasoned? We will be back without a doubt.
The place is clean, the food is fresh and delicious, and the price is fair. This one is a no-brainer. Please visit K Grill2go as...
Read moreVery different look from the original mixtape grill that was there before. It now feels more open, like a small style sit down cafe. It feels very nice and cozy with the way the seating is arranged. Service was very quick to assist. I went with the Korean Tacos and a Banana Milk Tea. First to come out was the Tea. This tea taste like a straight banana milkshake. 10/10 will be back again. Super light but insanely packed with fruit flavor, super rich from the milk tea. Tacos came shortly behind, I think total wait time was like 10 minutes? Here would come my ONLY recommendation. I say this because it's not so much a complaint as a suggestion to the chef. I appreciate the tacos being so full, however it makes them a little hard to eat along with they were just a bit too greasy along with all the other toppings. Now I still stand by the logic that a messy meal is a good meal. I just like tacos a little more manageable as a finger food. Just too much liquid for the tacos to hold their form. As for the taste though, packed full of flavor. Little hints of sour and spice from the kimchi and other ingredients. Tasted very fresh. I will be back again! Thank you for the...
Read moreI’ve always enjoyed the food quality here and have even recommended it to many of my friends. In the past, I ordered by calling the store or placing an order in person without any issues. However, this time, I used the online link provided through Apple Maps via Slippery Rock location, and my order was mistakenly placed at a different location 50 minutes away. When I reached out to the store, they were no help — they didn’t offer any solutions or attempt to remake my order. Very disappointing experience, especially after being a loyal customer. Will not be coming back, neither will my friends. My friends and I have been very genorous with inviting new people and tipping the store. Dissapointing they can't remake my food after all...
