Had a genuinely wonderful time here today. There was a Taco Tuesday for all the faculty and staff! Yes the in person fellowship was a huge part of my enjoyable experience, yes the food was wonderful(who doesn't like a taco bar?), yes the facility was very clean and well decorated for the event, but it was the people working the event and serving the food that made it special. The employees at Boozel were so welcoming and kind to me, not one server did not have a smile on the entire time they served me and others. I went up multiple times and in different lines so I collected enough serving smile data and enough calories to say this was a constant variable within the staff. Read moreEven for a college dining hall the food here is atrocious. You’ll end up having to run the the bathroom almost every time. The chicken is ALWAYS slimy and seemingly undercooked. Almost everything tastes completely under cooked. The potatoes are always raw and hard. The low quality food is extremely hard to eat on a daily basis. The cooks must love to use spices that either do not pair with the dish or they simply pile them on to cover up the bad taste. It’s usually packed to the point that you can’t even find a place to sit. Some staff are nice, but for the most part they just act hostile and seem angry that you’re near them. Read moreThis place is seriously the best! You might think it's just for college kids, but you're wrong! Anybody can go here. They have everything. Huge salad bar, make your own pasta bar, make your own waffle station, custom omelets, literally everything. Pizza, pork chops, ham, apples, mac and cheese, soup, mashed potatoes. Go for the end of breakfast and stay for lunch, you won't regret it. They close an hour after lunch to prepare for dinner, but man is that food good! And such a great price...
